Some, for the record, I totally agree with you on but just didn't have anything to do with "Anything Can happen" feeling posts.

Maybe I just read it wrong but certain posters are endlessly posting the same thing over and over in every thread. My appoligies, sincerely.

The point is if that's how others feel there's simply no reason to say they are wrong. To think if others enjoy something, that they have to "prove it" to those that don't is not right.

However:
RB's getting tackled but falling on a body and getting up and running, or the tipped balls we are seeing now actually getting picked off- Like one I had where the ball was laying on a defender and my WR grabbed it and took off and scored. It was reviewed and upheld... bad handoffs resulting in a busted play etc..etc..
Those are some of the reasons I get the anything can happen feeling....

Just simply tired (Not really you) of some other posters who feel the need to go into EVERY thread and post the same complaints over and over again. They simply can't post what they don't like and move on. They have to keep doing it over and over especially when they see a positive post.
I could care less if people like it or not although some feel they need to let everyone know in every thread that they hate it.

I think it may be time to just leave the general forum for the remainder of this year. Life's too short to be bothered with the trivial stuff...

Peace.
Nobody needs to prove anything. If you, or anyone else, like it, love it, think it is the greatest thing to happen to sports video games, they don't need to prove it. That they like it is good enough for me. I may not agree, and ill reply as such, but nobody owes me or anyone else an explanation.

By asking someone to explain why they feel a certain way, its not about proving, but rather just being able to understand where people are coming from. See, you made some examples, so whether I agree or not, I can at least better understand your perspective. Your opinion, however, is valid either way.

Sounds like it was a misunderstanding. You misread and I probably miswrote what I meant. I am very adamant about my Madden and EA hate, and am a proud Madden ***** / basher, but my bashing is directed towards Madden, not towards the people who like it. People have just as much right to love it as I do to hate it, and where I can agree with you is that Madden haters should not be trying to kill the enjoyment of those that like it.

There is, however, a difference between disagreeing and being a killjoy.

Gotcha. I'm just glad that finally we are seeing some good things. A few years late but finally. We're a bit aways from where I'd like to see it at but it's a start.
I just hope this gets us a better start for next gen and we don't have to wait 4-5 years of next gen football to see more improvements. I have more faith in Madden now than I have had in years. We'll see how it goes.

I loved the demo, and like everyone has said it looks even better in the retail version. The IE has been tuned up and the replays aren't so quirky anymore. Plus the tripping and falling is a bit tuned down in the retail version. The new IE makes this the most realistic Madden to date. I loved the gameplay, the gear, and the player customizations. My only question for everybody is.. Are the new NIKE Team Logo Gloves gonna be in the game for each team or no??????

Why isn't the score announced at any time during the game, not even at halftime or post game!? I think i may know why, they didn't record Nantz saying all the numbers how lazy is that!!

And I liked the Madden demo -- pretty much what I expected gameplay wise -- wasn't wow'd or anything and it still left we with the desire for more improvements. OSV here I come - yay!
Yeah I haven't played 2k13 obviously. I will see what's up when I buy it/rent it. I was speaking on past versions, to me (a guy that used to eat/sleep/live basketball) it was painfully bad. Hoping it gets better because presentation is great in that series.

For what it's worth, one of the game changers playing the retail version at EA right now tweeted the demo build is NOT the same build as the final retail version so the retail is far more polished.

Re: Madden NFL 13 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (360, PS3)

Has anyone been able to get rushing yards up?

I nor the CPU can get more than about 3 YPC.

It has been the most frustrating thing for me with Madden over the years. I can't run and the CPU can't run on me.

And because of that it just becomes a passing game. I know the NFL is all about the passing now, but good backs should be getting more than 3 YPC.

So if anyone has been able to get more rushing yards (on both ends of the field), what have you done to get that? Sliders?

Btw, this is on All-Pro.
