Life isn't fair. But, someones video game problems is very low on the list of possible issues that may be experienced. And it is kind of lame to use the plight of poor people as an argument for editing your madden teams.

Basic functionality is my argument and not a persons poverty level. It is simple, the game gives you no way to update the rosters yourself unless you can connect to EA servers. Lack of an internet connection is an example used. Didn't psn recently go offline for 2 months? How did those people deal with roster updates? They did it themselves through editing or transferred them from their computer. Madden 13 removes the ability to do anything to the roster in CC and is should not be this way for a number of reasons.

In fact one time i had a rookie OLB who was No.1 - how can it be gauranteed this wont happen? All of the above and many more issues were simple resolved by the edit function. We dont expect the game to be able to represent all the thousands of players in the NFL accurately that is why the edit function worked. If you do persist with leaving the edit function out then they must guarantee a perfect roster please rectify this ridiculous short sited omission

Gloves? My daughter puts less effort into designing her Sims characters!! I never knew people were that obsessed with Madden.

It's more of a "I want this too look realistic" type thing.

Stop being a Madden Fanboy and accept that some people don't like certain parts of the game, instead of insulting them.

Some people can't get internet access, or don't want to pay the recurring monthly cost. When I purchase something, I look at the recurring cost, monthly or yearly more than I look at the initial cost. A High Speed internet connection is around $30.00 a month in most places. You may be able to find slower HS Internet access for around $20.00.

But lets see. $65, one time fee for the game.

$20.00 X 12 yearly internet access. That's what, $240 a year?

Some people want the game to be realistic, and they do that if they can't download an online roster.

I don't do it much, but I understand why other people want it kept in.
