(Final score ended up being 28-13 as my audibles to zone coverage resulted in 2 pick sixes in the last 90 seconds of the game.)

For the record, the game was nowhere near as close as the 14-13 with 2 minutes left would indicate.

The Colts scored first with a 79 yard TD pass in double coverage with a missed tackle, and had two FGs after being set up by a punt return muff and an INT where Sanchez decided to throw the ball about 5 yards over the head of the intended WR for some reason. Gotta love dice rolls I guess. My 14 points were from long sustained clock eating drives. The game glitched or something and I didn't get to view end-of-game stats, but at the end of the 3rd quarter, the Colts had 2 first downs while I had 14.

At this point, if I do buy the game it'll be strictly for coach mode.
The Jets are the most aggressive defense in the league.

Pause the game once the game starts and go into Settings. You can turn both those things off. I did as soon as I downloaded the demo because I couldn't stand the audio and text in the videos.

Few Quick Hits:

My 9 year old nephew will love this game, because he can hit one button, hit one play and just sit back and enjoy it.

This 14 year Madden Veteran hates the Strategy Pad, the Game Flow, and just about everything with this game. I had to turn it off, because every time I called a toss play, the defense would blitz. It could be 2nd and 8 and they will blitz on it.

DBs can still magically knockdown passes with their head turned.

I love Gus Johnson, I think he brings a different presentation to the game. However, when he recorded 500 plus names, did he really have to stress each name. PEYTON MANNING throws incomplete. He thought it was the greatest incomplete pass ever.

EA Sports is going in the wrong direction with NCAA 2011 being a glitch/dynasty death and Madden being a dumbed down noobtard game. I can safely say for the first time in a long time, Madden will not be on my console center. If it did, it would collect dust.

Out of 10 I give it a 7, and I am being generous.

I love the details of the game. The players coming off the bus, timeouts and end of quarters when the waterboy comes out. Of course the d pad is going to take some getting use to but over all great demo..get ncaa 11 to used to the locomotion..

Copied from thread on "GET RID OF STRATEGY PAD"

Just got done playing the demo and the strategy pad is horrible. You can't even adjust the coverages. I want to come out in cover two and decide if my safety covers the RB or TE or gives extra help to a CB or stays in a deep zone.

So one more vote to put the adjustments back to the way they were.

ok i was using the colts and i was down 21 to 14, i was at the15 yard line with 25 seconds left, peytons under center and what do i hear? NOTHING!!!!! it was so quiet in that stadium you could hear a pin drop across town, no way is it ever gonna be that quiet in jets stadium, or any stadium in football for the opponent to hear the cadence, i hope this silence isn't in the retail version because if it is it will ruin the authenticity of the game

Seems very, very similar to Madden 10. The same things that frustrated me about that game, are the same things that frustrate me with this demo. The visuals are a lot better, but the gameplay still is very subpar. I won't be buying.
