QBA - Low end chart for both
Pass Blocking - 76/76
WR Catch - chart/number used to get a total of 100 along with CPU low end QBA #

Rushing

Broken Tackles 0/8
Run Blocking 10/34
Fumbles 24/60

Pass Defense

Reaction Time - 10/10
INT 22/52
Pass Rush 56/86

Rush Defense

Reaction Time - 4/24
Block Shed - 20/10
Tackling - 0/20


No switch rule on defense. I use my entire playbook. I only limit myself calling "Four Verticals" once per half.

That is it. No other house rules.

These settings are doing great for me.

Yep, I plugged these in and they work very well. Did you decide to go back to 76 for cpu pass blocking instead of 80?

I really like these, BUT, and theres always one around, a but I mean.

First the computer cant seem to break tackles, just played against the Colts who had Hillis and he didnt break one tackle. He came head to had with my safeties and corners multiple times, and there not great tacklers, and he got stopped each time.

Second it seems to easy to pass, I threw two picks, but they were just really dumb throws. The kind your like, yeah if they dont intercept this then thats there bad.

And finally of course since they cant break tackles, they cant run the ball. First half held Hillis to 10 carries for 5 yards.

I dunno. I think I just need to make the CPU really awesome overall.

The CPU passing game isnt much to talk about either.

It felt good, but Im sooooo sick of the QB trying to scramble when a OLinemen MIGHT lose his block.

Pm,forgive me for the stoopid question but are you posting these as CPU/human or the other way around,

Cause following your qb% thread your wr catching rating is 60 but you have that rating is listed 1st which I thought was normally the the human rating

Still wondering what your season ending stats look like for those of you who have completed a season or simmed one. The CPU teams are putting up monster #s, especially rushing.

I'm wondering if maybe turning up the fatigue slider ( to make them fatigue more, and thus sub more ) might help this.

Does the fatigue slider ever effect simmed games?

This is why no one slider set will ever be a universal fit. I see broken tackles in my chise, I see the CPU running the ball strong as well.

Again I use PM and other guy's settings as a base to start from and tweak from there.

Usually in my first season I struggle a little as I am getting the hang of the new game. Second year I normally do much better and I start to slowly but surely tweak the cpu side a little up and my side a little more downward.


Overall though this Madden AI wise plays better than any previous Madden on any gen IMO on the field.

Yep. I sure did.

Also notice I use a lower CPU pass rush number. I found this number to be a little more balanced. at 90 or above they were too effective. I had no time at all to scan my second and third options. Again user skill will vary player to player. I found myself under too much duress at the higher level. This setting feels right for me.

this is what I've been using. They aren't perfect but it makes it hard and it's working well for me:
12 min w/ 15 sec run off
Penalties as listed
injury: 40
fatigue: 58
Speed threshold: 25
Game speed: normal

Qba: 8/72-76 (most I leave at 72, brady, brees, rogers, ect. I bump to 76)
blk: 76/76
Cth: 54/66

Bktkl: 8/8
Blk: 12/32
Fbl: 40/50

React: 10/10
Int: 40/40
Rush: 80/90

React: 24/24
Shed: 10/12
tak: 16/16

I started using these with 2 games left in the first year, and went 1-1. Then in the playoffs beat the matt ryan less falcons and lost 31-24 to washington.
Now in year 2 I added some much needed linemen(I'm the bears), a big wr (81 rating), and my first pick was a cb(84).
Week 1: W 31-28 vs Det on last second fg
Cutler 27-42 345 2td 1 int 4 sacks
Stafford 11-23 183 2 td 1 int 6 sacks
Forte 27 for 123 td
Best 21 for 182 td

Week 2: W 24-23 vs SF on last second fg
Cutler 25-41 277 2 td 1 int 4 sacks
Garrard 15-31 260 2 td 5 sacks
Forte 27 for 86 td
Gore 13 for 62

Week 3: L 31-21 @ Minn
cutler 17-30 205 1 td 1 int 3 sacks
ponder 16-22 133 2 td 3 sacks
Forte 19 for 59 2 td
Peterson 26 for 167 td (had a 48 yd td and another 30+ run)
ponder, gerhart 12 for 79 td

Week 4: W 34-10 @Houston
Cutler 28-39 321 1 td 2 int 1 sack
Yates 18-44 201 1 td 2 int 3 sacks (schaub is out for 8 weeks)
Forte 26 for 82 2 td
Foster 8 for 32

I don't like that there seems to be a lot of sacks some games but doesn't always happen, with the lower speed threshold I get burned on big plays but it opens a few for me, but my main thing I'm trying to fix is I run MANY more plays than than opposition. But I have competitive games with pretty reasonable stats.
