Jarodd21 Madden 11 Custom sliders.. Good competition from CPU..

Jarrod you and the other guys seem pretty clued up on sliders, but i am struggling.

Its anoying because you are right, anything less than all madden on user side means kicking is a joke.

Your sliders feel really good on offense. My vikings team is solid in that respect but i have average QB so i have to make sure i am sensible with my throws. You should'nt go game after game with no int with a poor QB so i am ok with that.

Where I am really really lol struggling is defense. Against the run i can handle myself mostly, the odd big run but thats fair enough.

Pass defense though is a mess. find myself with blown coverage, no INT, very few sacks.

Now i guess the obvious thing is that this is my weak area in playing ability and I have closer games when the cpu is on all pro, but then were back to too easy kicking and silly plays.

With your sliders, is there anything on the CPU skill side of things that I can trim down without it killing it.

In lamens terms I would say my Madden skill is:

Offense - ALL MADDEN (well mostly, sometimes i do the stupidest of things)
Defense - No better than all pro
All forms of special teams - ALL MADDEN.

Any help would be great.

Give me a run down on the exact sliders your using then I can give you some good settings to help you out in those areas..

Basically your sliders but with CPU interceptions at 50.

I remember reading somewhere that the CPU interceptions was no only there ability to catch the ball but their positional play aswell. ie too high an they are basically mirroring your wide recievers.

Anyway, my major problem is defense.

Since the update i just cannot get to the QB, which like any RL game means they should not throw any INT as they have plenty of time.

My DT just fall on there ***, DE get stuffed and my only pressure comes from the classic CB inside rush.

I did quite like steelcityjames sliders for defense but not offense. Now this might be a shot in the dark and i might test them tommorrow ( in uk, getting late lol), but have your USER settings but HIS CPU settings.

Might be complete shambles but lets see.

a combination of mine & jarodd's sliders...... sounds kinda interesting actually. when you try it, post some stats if u can.

Yea try that out and see how it comes out.. I'm surprised you wasn't getting a good pass rush with Steels USER pass defense settings 25-25-25 since he has the CPUs pass accuracy at 40, pass block at 0, and catching at 25.. But let me know how it goes so I can try to put together a good pass defense that fits you..

hey man, I still like the sliders, but i've been having a easy time running the ball lately.

I've been putting up over 150 yards almost every game with any team, I was thinking because of the cpu blk shedding is at 0. Is anybody else having this problem?

for example.
I was the Colts vs Steelers

Addai had 124 yards and Donald Brown had 93 yards.

Colts aren't a strong run team so theres something wrong there.

Your actually the first person who said the running is easy.. Most people say there too hard and the DTs live in there backfield. Haha! Yea I gets busy with the run too but I have some bad games. Just crank the CPUs tackling up to 55. That should make it a little harder. Are you using the USER Rushing at 50-0-25 or 45-5-25?

alright cool, i'll try cpu tackling at 55. And I play with 50-0-25.
