Update 9-15 is infected...

It keeps getting stuck at the roster menu when I go to roster management. I used the winzip to take out the datel. file out and that didn't do any good. I hope you guys are having better luck than me. But I find this strange because none of the previous updates I downloaded never had this problem...

Yes I'm afraid so .But only when you use the editor to make further changes it seems. I messed with this all night and this seems to be the reason, if you add alot of edits to your already edited rosters(specifically global ) and if you try and change specific players your game will get stuck, trust me on this. I am not making this up and yes before anyone askes, I have the Green Halo edition Xbox and I rarely ever play any games on it long enough to over heat ,let alone have never had a freeze on it. Irondudez the best thing I can tell ya is to play with it and wait till you get anymore feed back from anyone. I 'de hate for it (the problem)to be the editor...

Maybe it isn't the rosters so much as it is the re-packing of the file by the editor.

I have experienced this before, but I don't have it now, so I don't know exactly what it could be. But for me, I associated it with using 1.0 of the editor.

I would say, try it brand new and make your changes again. Try re-saving it and see if it locks up again.

ive noticed that the roster will freeze up if you move any players around in finns editor. other than that dudez rosters work finr for me.

Yeah I stay away from player movement as well. I have a feeling that is what causes the freezing.

Thats a shame if it is true as I considered that a way that we can manipulate rosters during a franchise. For example if in real life a star player from another CPU team retires or is cut and picked up by another team we could make this transaction happen....but if it locks up.....bummer.

I forgot to mention that before the lock-up I was working on Carlos Joseph( Miami Hurricanes RT) and noticed that his helmet was gone!!! All you could see is the grid in the background. That was the first sign of the lock-up. I was using the 1.3 version of the editor right before I loaded up the game to change Carlos. I haven't had issues with any rosters before on this forum so I knew it wasn't the Xbox. I just hate it had to happen in the middle of both an incredible breakthrough (Finns editor) and one hell of a run (Xrob vs. Irondudez) to correct such a simple thing VC didn't bother to fully think out.....
