I also posted this in the PS3 thread, but is there any way to make the free agency period competitive in the Franchise? With control over every team, it's just a free grab. Thanks!

PS3 files aren't compatible with the editor so you're kind of out of luck with choosing only one team to control. Only solution I can think of is to release then re-sign a majority of the players on each team in the roster file (this resets their contracts) so then you can start up a franchise in-game and choose which team to control.

Nah, everything will be default; schedule, salary cap, etc.

Side note; for the people who've tested the beta file, I can apply the new ratings to the old franchise file (v9) if you guys want. It'll be easier than creating one from scratch. I know I said I was going to do an end-of-season update but I got kinda preoccupied with testing out the beta file.

I know I've said this before but I have a separate file that I'm still working on that has all the practice squad players, and eventually will have all the rooks. So the offseason/rookie file will be easier to create when that time comes. Just still have to do ratings for that file. Should be something fun to do to waste time when I'm bored lol..

Hey Gill- Got some playing time in. I'm on game 3 of a Dolphins franchise. Apparently, the ratings are pretty good, because I'm a paltry 1-2, with 2 good ***-kickings under my belt by the Texans and Jets. The Jets managed to go up 31-0 at halftime. I eventually lost 31-14. I managed to beat the Raiders though 52-17.

Reggie Bush is playing pretty well, but I had to sub in Matt Moore for Tannehill in the Jets game. Moore played well.

Anyway, thanks for some great work!

The franchise is perfect, but how to pick only one team?

Strange that the roster isn't working for you, but to answer your question you'll need to use the 2k5 editor to change teams. Open up the franchise file in the editor, right click on the team you want to control and choose "control this team only". Save then transfer to your console and you should be good to go.
