To achieve proper pass blocking you must give the backs a minimum rating of 85 for them to actually locate and pick up defensive lineman as well as incoming line backers. This is one of the ratings that I have been testing. I am going through each att, testing and looking for improvement in game play.

MJD has a 85 pass blocker rating in my roster so hes good lol

yeah i've noticed that when i hot route fullbacks to pass block, they pretty much just stand there and do nothing but get in the way slightly. But the computer backs seem to pick up my blitzes fine.

So anything under 85 and they don't block at all? Or do they miss some of the time? If they are 85+ do they always hit their assignments?

I set my rb's and fb's with 85 for a minimum and 95 for a max. I would say that with those settings they pick up the block around 90% of the time compared to about 40% of the time before. That's my focus now, trying to maximize attributes that equae to game play.

Great idea....bad thread name. I'd ask a mod to change it to something like "Attribute testing thread" or whatever. "In case anyone cares" is one of those nebulous titles and is actually against one of the 7 commandments! lol
