GR18, I have been editing your rosters using Finns editor, however everytime I load your most recent file I get this error msg.

1) Found possible name corruption..would you like to auto-repair??

Not sure if this happens to everyone, but I just wanted to know if this is common and if so can I still use these rosters for a franchise???. Any help would be appreciated...thanks in advance...

This should be o.k. for franchise and a very common problem when going into intense player creation.Most rosters run into this problem especially when grouping player names together.I never auto-repair because this could lead you into more name issues.For instance I might use a last name for a player that already exists when creating a rookie with that same last name but when I write over that older player that is no longer on a team the rookies last name may change to an entirely different one.I always double-check my names when finalizing a roster.

Instead of using the pop up list and linking players to one another, why dont you just overwrite the player by typing in the actual name? If no player gets linked to another, you should be able to avoid the name corruption problem altogether.

The only time I get name corruption problems is because of those damn celebs who always seem to be linked to players one way or the other but luckily, I found a way to eliminate that problem.

Once you're finished with the roster (and I mean finished), do a search and just press enter. The celebs should be the first seven players listed. I edit them by eliminating their name completely to where all the celebs first and last names are "blank". I save the file and then re-open it in the editor. The name corruption message appears and I click yes and save the file again. I open it again and all those fake celebs are completely blank and cant have their names typed in. You could still use the pop up name list but thankfully, I dont use that at all so im not worried whatsoever.
