Re: Converting Roster files? Please help

damn bad luck, many thanks once again for all your trouble. No chance me getting any of these things, I'll have to import them since I live in Africa. Anyways, keep me posted tomorrow and let me know if I can help in any way.

you are right, if getting new rosters mean putting your ps2 at risk, don't do it, it's not worth it.

Good News.... I have found an Action Replay MAX at a gamecrazy..... so I'll drive up there and get it....and everything should be good tomorrow......I would do it tonight, but I have a couple parties to go to in that area.... if things work out fine at the party ...I'll have the rosters up tomorrow...... if things don't workout tonight I'll have the rosters up at around about 3am in the morning.

Re: Converting Roster files? Please help

Here is what you need to convert the files yourself. You will need the PS2/PS3 memory card adaptor, PS2 memory and a way to transfer the PS2 gamesave from you PC to your PS2 memory card.

If you don't have a way to transfer a PS2 save from your PC to a PS2 memory card then there is no way for you to convert the file to the PSV format. The only way to get the PS2 save on to your PS3 is through the memory card adaptor. The only way to create a PSV file is from the PS3.

Re: Converting Roster files? Please help

Ok I've never upload files like this before so here you go....

I don't know which is which....but one is the roster and the other is the franchise..

http://files.filefront.com/BASLUS+20.../fileinfo.html

http://files.filefront.com/BASLUS+20.../fileinfo.html

these are .PSV files.... you don't have to unzip them.

for those who don't know what to do...

create a folder on your usb flash drive named "PS3"

in the PS3 folder, create another folder named "EXPORT" remember all capital letters..

then in this EXPORT folder create another folder named "PSV"

now copy these two files you downloaded into this PSV folder....

so its like PS3/EXPORT/PSV

then plug your USB flash drive into your PS3......copy these files from your USB flash drive....into your PS3

I'll fix this up later as the day goes on.....

these are FunNGun's rosters and franchise files....

so thankx to everyone who is involved......

Re: Converting Roster files? Please help

I forgot to add, these are FunNgun's rosters from about a week ago..... he has a new one coming up... I'm trying to figure out how to convert the files from XBOX to PS2....if someone has Finns editor can someone convert FunNgun's latest rosters for us....and I'll convert it so it can work on the PS3....

edit- ok, I understand now...now we just wait for the new rosters...

here is the step by step process by TarHeelsUNC

5. Copy that file to any location.
6. Open the PS2 file in Save Builder.
7. You will see a BASLUS file. Rename the .DAT file to whatever the name of the BASLUS file is (remove the .dat extension also)
8. Right click and delete the BASLUS file in Save Builder.
9. Paste the new BASLUS (the old .DAT file) into the spot where the previous file was.
10. Save.
11. Open in Finn's editor and hit OK on the error that pops up.
12. Save.
13. Load with your flash drive and AR Max on the PS2.

Preseasons still sim slow, and some colleges are wrong, but otherwise, it works perfectly!
