After week 1, the QB will be the kick and punt returner for all the CPU controlled teams. I never played with the default rosters in franchise (I always wait for opening kickoff rosters) but I didnt have this problem with my "final cuts" roster from January. Its only in my "roster2k6" file. I used two different editors and did global edits in the "roster2k6" file as its based on the "final cuts" file. I'll be doing testing once August rolls around before actually creating my 2k7 roster because I dont want that problem to occur again. It took all the fun out of franchise for me which is sad because I was actually having fun playing with the Eagles.

Default roster has a lot of bugs in it. There's an OT in free agents that if you try to edit him, the game will freeze and you'll have to reset.

I received your PM. I didnt even know that there was an Entertainment forum here at OS. Of course, I never really looked for one either.

I'll PM you sometime this weekend when I have more time. Let me just say that 24 is easily my favorite TV show. Prison Break is 2nd. Smallville is okay but has kind of turned me off the last two seasons. Supernatural is pretty good and better then I expected it to be. I liked Heist but crappy NBC canceled it after just a few shows. CSI and Law & Order are good shows as well that I usually watch.

A lot of people love Lost but I kind of find it boring to be honest. I watched the first season about halfway and then just got bored of it. It didnt interest me. There wasnt enough action to keep me tuned in if you will. Lost might be better now then it was before but I just dont care about it anymore.

Jeez, I guess I could have PM'ed you with what I just wrote but I usually get carried away. Oh well.

That does sound slightly different than the issue with the default rosters. The default rosters only seem to mix up the punt returners. I'd love to find a way to eliminate this if possible. I noticed that with the default rosters, the ones assigned as returners were always the same guys...Stroud, Manning, and McNabb are the 3 I remember seeing every time I started a fantasy draft season.

Maybe, it has something to do with the fantasy draft? Try playing a franchise on default without doing the fantasy draft and see what happens.

I know that it always happened in fantasy drafts. I usually start franchises this way, so I'll have to try it out without a fantasy draft.

I did notice that Peyton Manning, Donovan McNabb, Marcus Stround, and I think Jonathan Ogden were always punt returners, no matter what roster I did the fantasy draft with. I figure that must be something about their attributes that makes the AI think they are prime candidates for returning punts. I don't recall seeing this issue with kick returners.

I'll try and to some testing this weekend to narrow down what is happening and what may be causing it.
