Which is exactly everyone's point, no?

No one knows what it is so they are asking. Someone simply wondered if perhaps the new Spider-Man would be darker and there was some conversation about what a dark Spider-Man would do for the franchise.

Most of us stopped talking about the picture by that point.

That's great, you were talking about whatever you felt like talking about and I was referring to the reaction surrounding the picture. You and Pared made my post a bigger deal than it actually was.

Taking the time out of your day to laugh at people discussing a movie here unfortunately is something I (and I'm sure others) took away from your comment.

The "size of the deal" isn't of matter, but the point is.

I'm not making your post a big deal, man. You're the one that came in and pointed fingers at people discussing something.

All I'm saying is that it didn't make sense to wonder why people were discussing it.
