Agreed. The whole rooting/flashing process is pretty damn easy. Do it once, then it's a peace of cake - especially with the image backups in case something goes wrong or you just don't like the latest ROM you flashed. Every Droid owner with the slightest bit of technology savvy should root their phone.

What does the rooting do?

I called Sprint today to try and get them to move up my upgrade date, and they were unwilling to budge. I can't believe it. I told them how pissed I was at HP and the whole Pre situation and how they said for so long that WebOS 2.0 was coming to current gen devices and now that it's not I feel cheated, etc.....nope. She said earliest they can give me a full upgrade is 2 weeks before the current July 1 date! Absolutely ridiculous.

I want an Evo Shift to tide me over until the next iteration of WebOS comes around.

it's cross platform. playing a game with my wife on her ipod touch and of course it shows up on my ipod touch.

It definitely is incredible and 100% my first choice because WebOS is the best OS I've ever used on anything....but I'm worried about A) my phone lasting that long and B) the support, from developers AND HP. I'm scared people just aren't going to develop after being pissed off like this. Android seems to be just so loaded with stuff, its unreal.

Just My opinion, I think Palm OS Stinks, My old palm pre was just garbage, I hated the interface.

I play Wordfeud (there's a free version with ads you have to skip, or you can buy one without ads for pretty cheap) on android with friends. It's essentially scrabble, just free.

It was your hardware that was garbage. Their OS is probably the best one out there.
