Todd VanDerWhiff, who writes for The AV Club and has seen the first couple of episodes is saying some concerning things on Twitter. Things like they have no idea how to write for Annie and Pierce sticks out like a sore thumb.

Worst was that he didn't think it was bad, but he's also pretty sure he's lying to himself.

Alan Sepinwall and Dan Fienberg in their podcast reviewed the episodes and didn't like them either, so consider me insanely concerned as well.
