Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1

So I was scanning through the foreign thrillers on Netflix last night and I came across "Kill List." Read the description, seemed alright, watched it. Wow, I turned it on for something to watch as I fell asleep but I was wide eyed awake until the very end. I had to go google "kill list explanation" to get some theories from people on the whole deal.

Seems like a film that most people already know about, but in case you didn't, check it out. Some intense moments.

Was it dubbed or with subs?

I'll have to to check it out as i've been meaning to try out some foreign movies every once in a while.

Just watched Flight again.
For a recovering alcoholic like myself, this movie is amazing.

Watched the the Judge Dredd re-boot "Dredd," and gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. It definitely reminded me of an 80's sci-fi action flick (think RoboCop) with a ton of gore and violence. Might sign the petition to get another film made.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?

Gotta go with Steve Martin, even when considering movies only. He has quite a resume across the board. When Chevy was on...he was on, but it was just not quite enough overall. Sort of like his SNL career. He could have done another year or two and really built more of a legacy there. When looking through his IMDB list, Chase has about 5 good movies there (Vacation, Christmas Vacation, Fletch 1 & 2, Caddyshack). Modern Problems was supposed to be his great follow up to CaddyShack, but the only redeeming grace in that movie was Dabney Coleman.

BTW.... "Under The Rainbow" is available for free on YouTube.

Batman: Under The Red Hood

Pretty awesome, going to have to check out the rest of the DC animated films now.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?

Just watched an interesting French/Italian co-production of a film focusing on Pontius Pilate. I gotta say it was a bit uneven but interesting.
