I don't like the movie at all, but I think Cuba Gooding Jr's role was meant to be that over the top, like a TO-ish type of athlete. I think he was very good in that flick, besides that it was blah.

Agreed. Bad acting, worse accents and what, there were no latino actors or actresses in Hollywood in the early 1980's for the lead roles.

How people put this movie on a pedestal in beyond me, maybe they like the music?

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, although both were bad though. Had higher hopes for the newest one.

Have you even seen "Radio"? I agree some of Gooding's choices for roles could be better, but his performance in Radio was def. not over acting.

I'll probably get some hate but Tarantino's I've never been a fan of, especially Reservoir Dogs. It just doesnt keep my attention
