Rescue Me: Season 5
One of the best shows on television was renewed for 22 episodes this season, which is intended to be split into two parts. It looks like the writers strike might delay things (like it did with everything else) so there may only be 5 episodes in '08 which would royally suck. As of now it looks like it may begin in July, I remember the last couple years TNT advertised the hell outta it during the playoffs but there hasn't been a single commercial for it this year.

Also, Season 4 comes out on DVD June 3, I'll be picking that up for sure.

Leary was just on The Daily Show and said the 22 episodes wouldn't air until next March. They are going to have mini-episodes on FX in starting in June, about 5 to 10 minutes each.

I thought Season 1 was amazing, Season 2 was excellent, Season 3 was ok, and Season 4 was downright terrible. I have little to no interest in season 5.

Love this show....again bummed it wont be coming on till much later on. I agree this show has shown a drop off especially in last season....that damn baby was so annoying and every episode i felt as if it was just used as the main plot line all season...which didnt do it for me at all.

Its good, but some things are just a little too edgy for my taste.

I really enjoy the fire house stuff, the rest not so much.
