Frankly I liked the self destructive Tommy of the first few seasons so I think it'd be a good change to go back to that after 2 seasons of sobriety.

Either way I think it's a matter of time before he takes a drink and goes on a binge or something. I guess the question is what will set it off? I could see maybe colleen getting pregnant or something after he encouraged them to have sex as being a possibility, but maybe that's too obvious.
Let's be honest.

We all know he is just gonna start banging Janet again.

The show has been pretty damn good so far though. And it should be after a year off the air. Maybe Sean will be this years ultra depressing death, especially since he can't tell his boys about the tumor. And Michael J. Fox is great as always. I didn't know him and Leary were friends till recently.

Yeah the series is definitely back on course, I'm loving this season so far. It's not quite as good with Tommy being sober and calm but it's still been entertaining as hell.

Ah. I set it up to record the 11pm Re-Broadcast because of other things that record at 10pm.

Must have not got it because they didn't re-air.

Oh well.

Good season so far. I loved Lou's tirade putting Tommy back in his place. You sometimes forget that there was more than just Tommy at 9/11. They all have to deal with that.

I also thought sean's outburst in the kitchen was a A+ acting by him. Since he's normally the goofy slightly more intelligent version of mike it was awesome to see him snap like that. Plus the next scene with him and the doctor was hysterical, very nice acting range.

That scene caught me off guard. It's amazing that the show can continue to catch you off guard after all this time. I'm also happy to see how they are handling Franco's insane 9/11 conspiracy stupidities...er theories.

Btw - not sure if you guys knew this or not but that was written into the show because the actor who plays Franco insisted upon it since he subscribes to those beliefs himself.
