Yes, you are on the right track.
I don't know why the xmb says 1.08, but if in game you have 1.16 everything should be good.
As for the data packs, when downloading them try choosing 'HTTP' instead of 'P2P'... it downloads faster (it still took me 20 minutes do download them all).

What difficulty do you guys play on? I'm 0-3 so far on regular (I think that's what it's called) Napoli beat me 6-1 in a friendly in my ML with Everton. I played with Real Madrid and got beat 2-0 by Guadalajara...followed that up with a 1-0 loss to QPR playing as Tottenham. The difficulty level above it is way too easy, but on regular I can't create any scoring chances for myself and I can't outrun any defender. Very frustrating lol

someone want to explain the option file stuff to me...or point me in the direction of which one to download...looking for some world cup rosters...also will i need the world challenge dlc?

another question will the world challenge dlc have the correct player names?

Pretty good game, I like it. Since I'm new to the sport, I'm not all that familiar with the teams and players so the license thing doesn't bother me.

The game play is pretty smooth, and it seems to play better than FIFA. I've got the 2014 WC Brasil game (which I enjoy too), but PES seems to be more fun.

Definitely looking forward to PES 2015.
