Pros:
--CPU RB AI is light years ahead of any previous NCAA game. It is incredible how much better the CPU RBs make cuts, etc.
--Zone defense much improved.
--Pass rush and LBs shooting gaps much improved. Very impressive pass rush, even on Heisman.
--Shotgun running is much improved, again...even on Heisman.
--The new tackling engine and the lack of suction is instantly noticeable and very imrpessive all the way around.

Cons:
--still not seeing many penalties. Pass Interference still nonexistent.
--CPU QB holds the ball way too long without either a. throwing the ball away or b. scrambling. No College QB worth his salt is going to hold the ball 7-8 seconds without getting rid of it.
--Too many all out/jailbreak blitzes by the CPU. This is a big reason for the Humans thrashing the CPU when the CPU keeps zero blitzing and leaving defenders one on one or even leaving a WR wide open. Blitzing is fine. Alll out blitzing is not.
--A few too many instances of my entire Defensive line/Front seven getting pancaked simultaneously by the CPU. Typical on Heisman, but needs to be toned down regardless.

On a side note, Oregon refuses to run out of Shotgun in this Demo. I swear they threw 95% of the time.
I think Heisman is the only way to play this demo. Oregon ran the spread on me very well, LMJ had 100 yards on 11 carries last time.

I just havent seen a single scramble yet in 5 heisman games....

But as I have been playing more and more I am seeing many improvements, the running game is much better on BOTH ends (CPU and user).

My biggest issues were things I saw in the two user games I played, but heisman vs CPU is good football. Still needs tweaks but lets see what the tuner does for it.

If this was a PC game, these are the kind of improvements you would get released in a patch about two months after the initial launch date. Complete b.s. that they couldn't have fixed more gameplay issues in a full year's worth of development time. I'm not expecting a brand new game, but this effort is just not very good at all - it's basically what '11 should have been, with many issues STILL unresolved.

Since it's EA they get the luxury of releasing NCAA 11.5 and selling it for $60. Yet another year passes with no competition from another developer...

I must be blind but I'm not seeing this 3-D grass people are talking about. Running game feels and looks better. Defense seems a lot tighter with the A.I making some of the sacks for my team which is a first. For some reason the graphics in general to me look dated.

Or you could buy it, and give to a orphan child.

Ok so even with my samsung tv i cant even tell for sure if they finally got the Longhorns field correct. Its supposed to be field turf like it has been in real life for 3 years. Can anyone tell me if the field is turf? I seriously cant tell. to me it looks like turf in the replays where you see "3d" but id like another opinion

Coming from someone who had to cover KSU's Carson Coffman for a work..... you shouldn't be surprised if a QB overthrows a WR by 5 feet even when his feet are planted, then heave a great pass down the sidelines. But hey, we all want different things in a game, so I don't blame you if you don't like it.
If thats what you thought I wanted, then I have to think you didnt even bother reading my post at all. Glad you like the game.....my 12 year old could have completed some of those passes. The games passing logic made no sense. The game did not play correctly IMO. I am perfectly fine with throwing bad passes, if there is cause for it. Tight throw, long throw, throw on the run, throw under pressure, throw on the run,ec.....I am not about any of those situations in my posts. Just wide open 5-10 yard bad passes, but me and the receiver just standing there for seconds. It felt very random and CPU dictated.
