Do players who had not come in til' the 4th quarter show up with dirty uniforms as soon as they come in?

I was just wondering about that today. I like the dirty uniforms but is it realistic to mirror how long a player has been in the game or do all the uniforms get dirty no matter who the player is.

Air Force for example runs 85% of the time, and blitzes 25% of the time...you can change that, and do that for every team in the game in your dynasty...someone has a spreadsheet in the thread that actually breaks down what the run/pass slider should be and the aggressiveness on D.

I played 3 games in my dynasty, and I've seen 15 1 man blitzes, 6 2 man blitzes, and 2 all out blitzes in 3 games...so the slider does work.

I've been preaching this in a few threads. The coaching sliders add to the realisim of the game.

At default we should all know by now EA is going to do things their way. Whether that be player ratings, sliders or CPU style of play, but the bottom line is if your willing to take a few hours or even minutes you can fix some of these issues being posted in this thread.

Now no one is saying the issues will completely go away but I think the suggestions really help to enhance the gameplay a great deal more.

At this point I think it just comes down to if you want EA to do it or if you want to take matters into your own hands and not depend on EA to do it.

IMO they might eventually get to it but you could be waiting a long time for it to happen.

I've done the defensive aggressiveness sliders fix in my offline dynasty (the only place it works, by the way) and its impact is measurable but not really substantial. Yeah, the CPU won't blitz as much, but they will still do it in predictable situations almost every time (just about every 3rd and medium - long), and they still call the most ineffective blitz packages for the situation. I just played a game against Oklahoma State and I watched the replay for just about every gain of 15 yards or more I had through the air and down the middle of the field. On the vast majority of them, the CPU called Nickel against 4 and 5 receiver sets, and they used one of those plays where the safety and the extra CB, or the extra CB and a linebacker blitz while one or two of the DLinemen drop back into coverage. These plays might work on runs or short passes out of 2 WR sets, but they simply don't work against a spread offense. So while they might technically only be 5 or even 4 man rushes, the fact that they are trading LBs and DBs for linemen creates gaping holes in the middle that you practically have all day to exploit.

Ultimately the sliders just don't do enough to change the CPU logic in these situations to fix the lack of challenge in the passing game.

CPU RB logic is better since the patch, but it could still use a good amount of work. They still protect the ball way too much and still run toward the middle of the field at times when they shouldn't.

The protect the ball logic is weird in this game. I've seen some runs where the RB is covering the ball with nobody around him and he looks idiotic. Then I play another game and the cpu RB busts a long run, has guys right on his tail and doesn't cover up. Granted, it was a really good RB on this last play. I wonder if the cover up logic is related to their fumble rating or some sort of awareness? If the RB isn't afraid to fumble maybe they don't cover up as much.

See this video of Clay busting a TD run against me (yes, I love playing with him and against him) and he doesn't cover the ball.

This was a nice TD pass to Baldwin. A corner- post route with no magic swat.

P.S. The embed code for youtube doesn't seem to be working.
