If you guys don't like the new camera angle then please vote here:

Maybe if enough people don't like it they could patch in the old camera as an option. I doubt it but you never know.

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here

I've played several games on the Demo and I really like it. Let me say this though, I got a lot of enjoyment out of NCAA 09, especially online dynasty. I know that game had its flaws, but I really enjoyed it.

Knowing that is where I am coming from, here is what I thought about the demo.

--Loved the over the shoulder catches.

--New tackle animations are great.(as long as the extreme tackles are fixed like Adam reported) I saw a couple times where the Def player tried to push the player down and the off player would bouce out of the tackle. Also nice tripping up tackle animations.

--I also like how a player will tackle the ballcarrier but not wrap him up and the Off player can never regain his balance and falls to the ground, but several yards away from contact. Nice addition.

--Bullet passes seem like bullets. I felt like I could put touch on passes as well. I can now throw over the middle and not worry about super leaping LB's. I threw a couple of passes that regretted throwing b/c I was so used to 09, but the LB didn't jump up and snag them and I made the play. I also tried to the thread the needle over the middle, the MLB didn't jump to intercept and the ball sailed over my TE's head. That one play was the most realistic looking play I've seen in a very long time. When I saw it, I thought to myself that is exactly what I see every Saturday and Sunday at football games.

--The DB/WR interactions are a welcome sight. I like to see them actually press the WR and bump him off his route.

--LOVE THE FACT THAT THE CPU THROWS THE DEEP BALL. I got beat for a 60 yard TD when I moved my Safety a little too far to the inside, and the CPU WR got past my CB to the outside. Nobody within 7 yards of the WR when he caught the TD.

--I also love that there are many errant throws by both the human and cpu QB's. I saw both QB's throw the ball 10 yards out of bounds on sideline routes. The "wounded duck" throws are awesome! Some landed on the ground, some were picked and some my WR came back 5 or 10 yards to make the reception.

--I can't turn on a dime like I could last year, which is good. I know some people would disagree with me, but I haven't seen where I could do that.

--Glad the spin was toned down to be a little more realistic and less effective.

--There are times when you have way too much time in the pocket. Both when I'm on Def and Off. I'm talking about 10 secs plus. That needs to be tweeked. I know that will happen once in a blue moon in real life, but it happens a little too much in the demo.

--Like the option to either sit or play an injured player.

--Really like the gameplanning feature. I think it will add a new dimension, especially in my online dynasties. Hopefully it is not overdone, I'll reserve judgement til the actual game drops.

--Overall I think this is gonna be a solid game. There are some issues with the pass rush, but the bottom line is this game is gonna be fun. The game is not perfect, it probably will not be as good as Madden, but it will be a solid game. I think people are so caught up in the improvements with Madden, that they just automatically are downgrading NCAA. I'm no NCAA apologist, I just know that I'm gonna really enjoy Online Dynasty with the groups of guys that I played with last year. I played 09 from July to March, which is probably the longest I've ever played NCAA, so I more than got $60 worth of entertainment out of it, and I expect the same for 10. I also expect to buy Madden this year, whereas I've not like it at all, and not purchased it for the last 2 years.

Agreed, it's actually helped me to get rid of the ball quicker a few times. Sweet addition.

I know it just doesnt feel right this year going for a strip or huge hit. I also hate on the demo when I play good defense and then on one outside run play where i get sucked into my block, the CPU gets a deep run for a TD.

Weird glitch at the end of the game: 4th quarter. I'm trailing OU 21-20. I complete a pass and advance to the 10-yard line with two seconds left and call a timeout so I can set up for a field goal.

Before I can call the play, Oklahoma calls three timeouts in a row.

I've heard about icing the kicker, but this is like nuclear winter. What gives?

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here

I'm very interested in hearing why the PS3 graphics in the demo are noticably worse compared to NCAA 09. I even downloaded the 09 demo to compare with the final game from last year to see if the demo from last year had poor graphics compared to the final game. The graphics from the 09 demo appear to be identical with the 09 final release. Yes, I am playing on an HD TV with an HDMI connection.

It appears that for some reason, the PS3 has taken a major graphical hit in terms of player models, jersey textures and especially helmet appearance quality with regard to lighting / reflections. The OU helmet looks like a throwback from the PS2.

There are some gameplay improvements, but with the very bad graphics, I will not pay $60 for a few gameplay tweaks and a chance to build a high school team online.

EA needs to clarify why the graphical quality is so poor. If these are the graphics that will be part of the final release, they should be embarrassed.

LOL.

I got that one, too. And Nessler said "The Sooners call a timeout. The Sooners call a timeout. The Sooners call a timeout."

... I love demo's
