They should get him going face-to-face with the Oregon Duck for a push-up contest

If Oregon gets off to a good start and not the slow start they have typically gotten off to this year, they will win. If it's the other way around, Auburn and possibly in blowout fashion.

Scenario 1: Oregon 43 Auburn 40
Scenario 2: Auburn 49 Oregon 35

Either way, it is highly unlikely either defense has a day to remember. It will boil to what kind of day Cam Newton has. I think if Oregon can keep Newton from running all over them, they can and most likely win. On the other hand, if Newton is able run wild, it's gonna be damn near impossible for Oregon to win.

I see Cam being effective in the run game, but I don't think he will be a busting huge gains constantly. If he does.. hell yeah.. but I think we're going to have to play a well balanced game. I'm not ready to write off either defense.. when there's this long of a layoff.. numbers aren't that significant. As much as people have spoke of Oregon starting off slow, Auburn has been at fault for the same thing. The SEC Championship game was our most complete game of football this season.

If winning a national championship isn't enough motivation for either team to play good from the start.. then I don't know what is.

I can't get over how much I hate this long layoff.. It hurts our chances.

How is Oregon gonna keep Cam from running? Oregon is MUCH smaller than Auburn on that side of the ball. Speed is great...but I see AU being able to run the Power Option right at Oregon all day.

The last 2 Games Auburn has played, Cam has shown he is more than capable of throwing the ball to win. And I'd venture to say that Bama and South Carolina's defenses are both as good or better than Oregon's D.

I may eat crow, but I don't see how AU doesn't score a TON of points on Oregon..assuming AU doesn't turn the ball over and doesn't get called for a bunch of penalties.

On the other hand...I do see Oregon scoring a bunch on us too. I've been saying something like 49-35 Auburn and I still see that kind of a game.

I am hoping for a low scoring, turnover filled, no TD game. 9-6.
