Tough break for

Nice game from Travon Buycks, he's a name I've read / heard once or twice but definitely not as much as Hunter, Green, and Tatum since they're more synonymous with the Magic. Is he a role player who had an all-timer Game 7 performance or is he a stud?

To the Dixon-Kuminga question, I wouldn't expect that to happen. Warriors got under the luxury tax so that resets them on the repeater bill. JK has been with the org for 13 seasons and, behind Steph, is the most awarded player (8x AS, 8x All-NBA). Jevon will pass him but he's a defining player. And Dixon is too good to move off for money issues, it'd be like the Thunder trading Harden, but 5x worse. Unless one of them wants out, the Dubs will hold onto them.

Buycks is their starting power forward. It's tough for me to get in every player of note on here/YT but he's essentially the Magic's version of Michael Porter Jr. Not necessarily the same play style, but the No. 4 player in the pecking order. He'll have some big games here and there but he's a solid starting caliber forward who would be in most every team's starting five, outside of teams like Golden State or Phoenix.

Fun Buycks fact, he was originally drafted by the Clippers before being traded to the Celtics along with Andrew Wiggins and the Clips' 2033 1st to get Gary Trent, as the Clippers had D'Angelo Ayon and had just acquired Jaylen Brown and Karl-Anthony Towns and were going all-in. That pick ends up making its way to Chicago in the Kareem Robinson trade, and then ends up at No. 5 which the Bulls just traded to Miami so they could draft K'Vonte Kennard, and the Heat drafted Damion Pack. Buycks ended up in Orlando in a sign-and-trade that sent Latrell Appling to Boston.

So in essence, that first Buycks trade helped the Celtics get Kareem Robinson, the Bulls get K'Vonte Kennard, and the Heat get Damion Pack. And the Clippers missed out on all of it. Woof.

Tough losses for GSW and MIL. Really fascinated to see how all these teams that get knocked out respond this offseason.
