Thanks! I really like Troutman. It looks like he will sign early, we just have to keep fighting off Morehead State. The other two guys, while they don't have any offers we have a long way to go.

Thanks, I'm convinced Kentucky just wasn't that good. Outside of Patterson and Meeks they had nothing else. I mean Jasper and Stevensen were OK, but there bench was horrid. I wouldn't be surprised if Gillispie gets fired, just like RL.

Oh I see, well it's still Kentucky, whether there mediocre or not, so that will help you a lot if you have a chance to be in the NCAA tournament.

How is Armstrong playing for you so far. Looks like Robinson is carrying the team.. Congrats on the big win over the Cats.

So far Armstrong is struggling offensively and on the boards but defensively he's been good. The main issue I think he is having is with his strength, he's getting bullied around on the blocks. I'm almost thinking of giving him some time at small forward.

Robinson has played really well, if he keeps it up he should give Lester Hudson a run for OVC POY.

Panthers hold on late

Charleston, IL - The Panthers we able to recover from a slow start to take a 28-18 lead into the half. The lead was keyed by a 18-0 run, after trailing 12-5 about halfway through the half. In the 2nd half both teams came to life on offense and the Grizzlies were able to chip away and get the lead down to 2 with 1:30 left but the Panthers were able to hit 9 out of 10 free throws down the stretch to hold on.

Dave Armstrong broke out of his funk, he had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Armstrong excelled when he was put in the lineup midway through the 1st half at small forward, abusing the small defenders. He also had a key block late in the game.

Up next for the Panthers is Sam Houston State (1-3), they are led by Deluis Ramirez (14.8 ppg).

Panthers cruise to sloppy win

Charleston, IL - On a night were it seemed neither team wanted to win, the Panthers were able to do just enough right to get it done. EIU never trailed in this one, but made it close throughout before winning 67-57.

Matt Dorlack returned to 07-08 form with his best performance of the season, he had 15 points and 11 rebounds. The story of the night though was the Bearkats inept offense, which managed to shoot less than 30% on the night.

Up next the Panthers head to Boston to face Boston College (2-3). They are led by Tyrese Rice (20.4 ppg, 4.6 apg).
