CPL you and I have almost the exact same idea for a fantasy league. I have college logos mixed in with custom and I have a military division within one of my conferences. Here are my latest:

And the Chicago Rebels (I haven't dont their endzone yet. The logo itself was almost 300 layers.

Out of all the logos that I have done, the arrow was probably one of the hardest for some reason. What I did was to make a rectangle and then use the cut tool to remove pieces to get half an arrow and then I copied it and flipped it so that it was a symmetrical image then just went through and added the highlights
