Jordan Schafer makes a spectacular catch in the outfield
Julio Lugo scored Alex Gonzalez on a go ahead suicide squeeze play in the top of the 9th to give the Padres a 3-2 victory. Craig Kimbrel pitched a perfect 9th to seal the victory for the Braves.
The win gave the Braves the series win and improved their record to 14-12, good enough for 2nd place in the NL East. After an off day for travel the Padres will host Albert Pujols and the St. Louis Cardinals for a 3 game set.

Started a 29 game Assoc. with my Clippers.
Made 2 pre-season trades.
Trade 1
Clips send Baron Davis, Brian Cook and DeAndre Jordan to Washington for Kirk Hinrich, Josh Howard and Cartier Martin
Trade 2
Clips send Ryan Gomes and '11 2nd round pick to Sacramento for their 2012 2nd round pick.
During the season Cartier Martin was not happy with his play time and I needed some frontline depth. So:
Clips send Cartier Martin to Chicago for Kurt Thomas.
This puts us $9.44 Million under the cap.
Next season Kurt Thomas, Josh Howard, Ike Diogu, Jarron Butler and Rasual Butler all come off the books. I am looking at about $22 million in cap room next year and $54 million in hard cap space.
Although I may attempt to extend Josh Howard.
So far this season I am 3-6..
Regular Updates to follow as are the boxscores from the played games.
