Well a small part of it at least.

So Christmas Eve I experienced full blown kidney stones. Let me tell you it was the worst thing ever. Now to please Mr. The C i'm not going to go into TOO much detail

Let's just say I had chills, fever, so much pain that I felt like death was an option and crawling to my toilet bowl to puke and then laying on the washroom floor for 20 minutes crying my eyes out.

This has to be the least festive Christmas in years. I usually kinda like this time of year and all but it seems like real life is just sapping my enjoyment of it. It's been a rough year not only personally for my family and I but in the world in general. The whole economic downturn has really taken some of the joy out of the season. All you hear about these days is people losing jobs, the auto companies looking for a bailout and charities struggling even more then usual.

Before we get to the highlight of the week on my little blogspace I need to bitch about my sleeping pattern. So I go through stretches where I can't sleep at all at night and then I end up sleeping at 7-8 AM and wake up around 3 or 4 PM. I can live with that but then I go through seemingly longer stretches like the one i'm in now where I can't even stay up past 9 PM! I invariably wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back to sleep. This plays havoc on me and I hate it.

As some of you may be aware my family background is from the West Indian country of Guyana. Most people I tell that to have no idea where it is but if you tell people of a certain age about the Jonestown Massacre they'll know where it is then.
