2K12 Issue

I'm having an issue where the first game I play every time I start up 2K12 it shows how to shoot a jump shot with the MJ display and for my first free throw it shows the "how to shoot free throws" MJ display. Is there any way to get rid of that?

First and foremost, do not let animations control the game. Y'all advertise so many animations, but only a few of the same animations play out over and over again.

Controls

-Go back to the dunk controls from 2K11. Move shot stick at basket for sig dunk, away for reverse or spin(which includes baseline, enough with the pointing the stick towards the baseline), right for hang dunk, left for hop step. 2K12 Controls

Is 2K12 aware that their controls don't do what they're supposed to do a lot of the times?

Going up for a dunk, point the shot stick right of the basket is supposed to be rim hang, to the basket is signature, left is hop step, and away is reverse.

I'm in practice mode with Gerald Henderson (I gave him Evan Turner's dunk package). I point to the right of basket he did a reverse. I point away from basket he does what I think is a simply stupid looking reverse dunk. ... Read More

Chances of CH 2K13?

I think this was the year that EA's NCAA license ran out, I was just wondering if anyone had heard or read any info about there possibly being a College Hoops 2K13 next year?

PS. What are chances 2K tries for an NFL or possibly even and NCAA football game next year?

Fixes that 2K12 NEEDS

Defense:

Why does it feel like we are on ice while the CPU can quickly change direction. My players keep sliding even when I react at the right time and the CPU just runs right on past.

Help defense is God-awful. My players help out at the most idiotic times. I didn't call for a double-team but my teammates think it would be wise to leave Ray Allen to double up on Jermaine O'Neal. They switch for NO REASON. And why is it that the PG ALWAYS runs to the middle ... Read More

Cosmetic Fixes- NBA 2K12 Patch

This is just a short list of things that I think should (if possible) be fixed in a patch/update as far as graphics are concerned.


- Ability to edit color of headbands instead of them being automatic

- Ability to edit jersey fit (loose or tight) and short length (60's short shorts, 90's short shorts, baggy)

- In CAP, fix the current list of hairstyles or add more, because they look terrible

I've had it with 2K12.

They went overboard with controls this year. I know people want "total control" and all that crap, but it gets ridiculous when there are so many controls and when you think you are doing one thing and the game does something else.
Example: tried to do a simple crossover, my PG did a hesitation move and then a crossover, dribbled it off of Baron Davis' knee an turned it over. Another example, told OJ Mayo to do a right handed layup, he did a reverse ... Read More

My negatives of 2K12

Let me start by saying, NBA 2K12 is a very good game. However, that is as far as I will go... a very GOOD game. The negatives are what make it a good game, rather than great.

Passing is atrocious. Passing with the A button, is even worse; when you use LS + A, they hardly ever pass it to the right person. Way too many floating passes, and the turnovers are way too high.

NBA 2K12 Legends editing

I saw on one of the forums that someone mentioned that we cannot move legends from their teams or use one in the association mode. Can anyone confirm this with a link or something?

This wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, but it would suck cause I was planning on switching the current Hornets roster with the 93 Hornets roster and go into an association with the Hornets back in Charlotte (where they belong).

Hex Editor NBA 2K12

I am completely illiterate when it comes to reading/talking about computer software. I was wondering if anyone on here would possibly be able to make a video on YouTube or something, using a Hex Editor for NBA 2K12 whenever the game comes out.

I would like to use it because I heard that some people would be able to use it in order to unlock the rookies.

If not, I can always wait til the lockout is over.

Would anyone else like to see this in the game?

Think about it...

Ability to create whatever retro teams you wanted, get Sir Charles and Reggie Miller in the game. However, it would have to be very deep meaning, ability to edit home and away jerseys as well as an alternate, court colors and logo decals, stadium look, etc. This would be a big selling point to the "older guys" who want to create an entire league from the 70's, 80's, or 90's.

I saw in an article today where Deron Williams said in a recent interview that more of the stars would be willing to play long-term overseas if the owners get there way. One of his quotes was "If a guy like Kobe Bryant is only making 11 million a year, I could see more guys playing overseas long-term." At least that was pretty close to what it said that I can remember.

I have a few things that I wish the NBA would implement while in this lockout (nothing really financial will be in this).

1. I wish that every team would have AT LEAST 2 minor league teams similar to the baseball system. More and more people are entering the draft nowadays but there are only 60 picks. That is A LOT of talented players that do not get to play again (unless they go overseas) that were very good players at the college level.
