My Alternate Control Scheme for NBA 2K

I find it frustrating that almost all of the commands (for offense) are on the stick this year because many times, my player will not do what I want them to do. Oh and some more suggestions for 2K...

When I press triangle to jump, my player should jump, not wait on the ball to come down, no do it 3 seconds later, jump NOW when I put in the command.

Why is shooting behind the backboard an automatic 2 points for the CPU? C'mon man...

Suggestions for 2K14 Next-Gen Patch

- I know art updates are possible now and some of the faces need some fine tuning/cleaning up (Cody Zeller, Michael Beasley are a couple that stand out).

- Ability to edit and save custom rosters offline. I hate having to reload my roster every time I start up my system for a Quick Game.

- Ability to at least be able to edit other teams' players Signature moves and accessories.

First of all, to the developers I would like to ask, after the first season in Association this year, will my Bobcats will take on the Hornets moniker, or is that something that can get patched in after the season, OR am I going to have to wait until Live 15/2K15 for Hugo to come back?

I was just looking at this article on Bleacher Report (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1812818-started-from-the-bottom-now-we-here-remembering-nba-stars-rookie-debuts/page/15) and I was wondering, as we go into the next-generation of video game consoles if this kind of aging is possible. We see how the players gradually tend to grow more facial hair, some begin to lose the hair on their head (looking at your MJ, Kobe, and LeBron). With the news of the Hornets name coming back to Charlotte, I think this would be the best time for the 2K team to implement a TeamBuilder feature to the NBA series.

During a franchise you could use it to change a mascot name, colors, jerseys etc. or to relocate a franchise, if you want to go ahead and move the Kings to Seattle. Well as most of you now know, the Charlotte Bobcats have begun the process to become the Charlotte Hornets. I would say again, but this franchise was never known as the Hornets to begin with. It's a great time for my beloved city, and by the time they change the name, colors, and jerseys, the team may not look as dire as it does now. I noticed in Round 2 of the playoffs that the Heat/Bulls series was playing the same day as the Golden State/San Antoino series. But then right before their game 5, they got an extra day of rest, I think this also happened last year.

That wouldn't be so bad itself, but then today the Memphis/San Antonio series is starting, while the ECF don't start until Wednesday. The NBA can't say they are doing this to let Indiana rest up, because they didn't do the same thing for Memphis, who ... Read More

MLB The Show- Minor Fixes Needed

MLB: The Show, in my opinion, is the best sports game out. (I do kind of miss fixing stadium prices, ticket prices, buying more seats, etc., etc., because it was just more to do off the field and kept the game fun to me. BUT, there are a few things that I think need to be adjusted/fixed for a future patch.

Charlotte Hornets and Seattle SuperSonics

So with New Orleans changing their nickname to the Pelicans, it opens the door wide open for the Charlotte Bobcats to change their name back to the Charlotte Hornets. As a proud member of the Bring Back the Buzz movement, I am more than ecstatic by this news.

Also, since the Kings have been sold to a group from Seattle, it opens up the possibility of them moving to Seattle and becoming the Seattle SuperSonics. I'm excited by this and I'm not even a fan of theirs. Seattle deserves to ... Read More

2K13 colors question

Okay so I'm editing some shoes for my San Antonio association. I have one of the rosters that somebody made on this site (can't remember which one) but they have it so that for a lot of the teams Team 2 is white for home, black for away, I assume for arm and leg sleeve purposes.
Anyways, I know that one of the dark blue colors matches the Team 1 color and the tanish/grey color next to that matches white for home and black away. I for the life of me, can't find where Team 2 is (this is why ... Read More

2K13 Calling me by nickname?

Okay, so I have a fairly common last name. I've never had an issue in past 2K games, but suddenly in 2K13, I am almost always called by my nickname by the commentators and rarely by my actual name. It's annoying since most of the nicknames are terrible, and it kind of kills the immersion factor. Is this something that can be fixed in a patch because it is getting really annoying...
