2K13 Calling all Hex Editors

All I'm looking for is someone that can change the colors of the accessories (so that Team 1 and Team 2 are to what I think they should be). I can edit the roster myself, but I just need someone to hex edit the colors, because I have no idea how to.

I like having all of the teams with white socks at home and black socks away. And when I say, "match to jersey," I mean that the accessory should match the primary color on a jersey. For example: home jersey = white accessories, blue jersey ... Read More

NBA 2K13 Initial Thoughts

Offense is spectacular. Defense... leaves a little to be desired. Though I haven't played it "a lot," these are just my first impressions. I played on All-Star difficulty on simulation sliders FYI.

When I am on defense, I don't know if it's my controller, but my players seem to be stuck in mud. They cannot slide quick at all, I like that it is toned down from last year, but it seems to be a little too much. The CPU players seem to out muscle my players on almost every play. ... Read More

What I wish was in 2K13

Just a few things I wish they would've added:

- Olympics to My Player and Association
- Recreate the '92 Olympics
- Voice options for My Player
- Updated CAP (Just going to go out on a limb and guess nothing was done)
- Updated art overall (how does LIVE have a better cloth effect and better cyber faces?) and STILL no home/away accessory option
- Correct colors; red still looks pink, Knicks orange looks dull

Has Association changed at all? Anything new there?
Will the ASG change arenas every year? (The have that in MLB: The Show)
Can we relocate teams this year?
I doubt this happened, but are we getting a TeamBuilder type feature? I just think that would be huge, because it would make it easier for roster makers to make more classic teams, add expansions, change team names. (I for one, would change Utah's mascot to the Bobcats, New Orleans' mascot to the Jazz, and Charlotte's mascot ... Read More

My Final WL for 2K13

This is mostly going to be about the art, because gameplay looks like it will be phenomenal.

The only thing I'd wish for gameplay wise is when you are in the middle of a dribble and you go up to shoot, layup, or dunk, that your player would finish his dribble instead of it morphing and if you're going into a layup or dunk, they shouldn't just fly up instantly, it should take the time to have them gather themselves to jump.

MLB The Show 12 Issue

So, all of the sudden when I was playing MLB The Show, the commentary just stops and doesn't come back for 10-15 minutes. It's done this about 10 times now, AND the game is starting to freeze all of the time. Everything was going smoothly since I got the game a couple weeks ago, and then this suddenly starts.

Can anyone help with this?

LA Lakers rumors

So with the signing of Steve Nash, I am still seeing rumors about the Lakers. Grant Hill is apparently a possibility and they are also meeting with Antawan Jamison this week. I also see 2 trade scenarios where LA trades Pau Gasol (and maybe someone else) to Atlanta for Josh Smith. I don't necessarily see Atlanta doing that, but it's out there. And then trading Bynum and MWP to Orlando for Dwight Howard and possibly Jason Richardson. That would make their lineup look like this:

Why people hate pro sports

Let me start this off by saying I am a huge sports fan, especially basketball. However, after talking with my dad (who hasn't cared for the NBA since Jordan retired in '98) and a couple others, I can understand why they wouldn't care for it. I have also noticed a decline in interest in the NFL (I am one of those who are starting to not care for pro football). 2K or Live- My biggest requests

Teambuilder

This is my biggest request. I think it would be easier for the Live series considering they already have Game Face and Teambuilder in a couple of their other games, but it would be HUGE for the 2K series. What really made me think about this is the New Orleans new owner saying that he wanted to change the mascot. As a native of Charlotte, NC this of course made me think of the possibility of the Bobcats becoming the Charlotte Hornets once again.

Art Updates NBA 2K12

Dear 2K,

Why can you not capitalize on your promises? We were promised art updates and have not seen ONE yet. However, customers are going out of their way to hex edit the game to make it look better and they do not see a dime for their work. They do it simply, because they love basketball. It's time to live up to what you told us you would do, EA is coming back and it would be a great way to keep fans that have been loyal to you for years.

Look at these videos (they are all under a minute, most under 10 seconds).

It sums up a lot of what's wrong in the game from, non-responding controls, canimations, bad shot adjustment (which should not trigger on their own, it should be up to us to change the shot or not), to weird and spastic movements, etc.

Create-a-Team....ONLINE.

This would be very similar to NCAA Football's TeamBuilder feature, but more in-depth.

You could choose to create an expansion OR relocate a team.
So when you go into Association, if you have chosen to relocate, there will be an option to have relocated teams or original teams. What happened to 2K fixing art post-release?

In one of the Developer Insights that 2K released leading up the release of the game they stated that they would be fixing and editing the cosmetic side of the game throughout the season.
However, there are several issues that haven't been fixed since the release.
