The Bobcats, after 2 injuries to their starters, needed some depth on the wing. They made a deal on Deadline day to prepare them for the final push.

- Bobcats trade SF Reggie Williams, PG CJ Watson to Washington for SG Jordan Crawford, SF Cartier Martin.

The team plans to start Crawford until Brooks is back, when he will return to the bench as a 6th man. Morrow moves to SF to start until Gay returns. Janero Pargo will assume the backup PG position but shouldn't see too many minutes behind Irving. Cartier Martin will assume the backup SF position for the time being. The Bobcats also sign SF James Jones to a 1yr/463K contract. He shouldn't see much time

The Bobcats finally got a healthy squad and lost newly acquired Rudy Gay to a severely sprained ankle and he will be out 2-4 weeks . This is a big blow to Charlotte as now they have both starting wing players out in Gay/Brooks. Now look for Morrow, and Reggie Williams to get the start until the injured players get back. I would expect a lot of scoring to come from the bigs (Boozer, Thompson, Speights) and from Kyrie Irving.
The Bobcats led this game by 17 points but lost it with a nice streak by Boston. Boozer scored 8 straight points for Charlotte in the 4th to give them a 10 point lead again and they would hold on for the win. Boozer led the scoring with 18 points, and Irving scored 16 in the win and added 10 assists. Gay scored 9 before leaving in the 3rd due to the injury after grabbing a rebound.

Box Score:
Charlotte Bobcats (6-2):
Boozer - 18pts 7reb
Irving - 16pts 10ast 1stl
Thompson - 11pts 2reb
Gay - 9pts 1blk
Speights - 8pts 3reb
Haywood - 4pts 2reb
Williams - 3pts 5reb 1stl
Morrow - 2pts 5ast 2reb 1stl

Boston Celtics (4-4):

Bradley - 9pts
Mullens - 8pts 7reb
Garnett - 8pts 3reb

The Bobcats have made 2 deals two days before the deadline, including 1 where they get All Star SF Rudy Gay from Memphis. Memphis apparently had many nice offers until GM Michael Jordan put in his bid, then it became a no brainier what to do. Here are the 2 deals:

1) The Bobcats trade PF Tyrus Thomas, SF Gerald Wallace and SG/SF Landry Fields to Memphis for SF Rudy Gay and PF/C Marreese Speights.
2) The Bobcats trade G Ben Uzoh, C Timofey Mozgov to Atlanta for SG/SF Anthony Morrow and PG Janero Pargo.

- The Bobcats trade a lot here for Gay including their starting SG and SF. Before the deal, it was reported that SG MarShon Brooks would miss 2-4 weeks w/ a fractured eye socket that he got during practice. This move leaves a massive hold at SG for a few games, but gives Charlotte another consistent scorer and a better rebounding big off the bench. GM Michael Jordan: "We are please to get Rudy Gay to give us a All Star SF and consistent scorer. Fields was nice some games, but had times when he could go cold for a few games, and we wanted to get Brooks in the starting lineup at SG. These deals give us a better starting SG/SF in Brooks/Gay over Fields/Wallace, and also helps us get a bigger PF/C to come in off the bench in Speights. With Thompson coming in we no longer needed Tyrus's athletic ability,".

- Anthony Morrow should start at SG until Brooks is back from injury, then return to a backup role. Morrow also gives Charlotte a nice three point threat off the bench

The Bobcats get back on track by defeating Brooklyn 69-65 in a very close match that saw the biggest lead at 5 for Charlotte throughout the whole game. Kyrie Irving led the Boozer-less Bobcats with 16 points and added 9 assists. Gerald Wallace scored 14 in the win, and Tristan Thompson scored 11 points and added 9 rebounds and a block. Derron Williams led the Nets with 23 points in the loss. The Bobcats are now 1-1 without Boozer in the lineup. The biggest story here is the defense from the Bobcats bigs. Thompson, Thomas, and Haywood really changed this game as Humphries and Lopez only managed 7 points between them (2 Lopez, 5 Humphries).

* Note: The Memphis Grizzlies are looking to move SF Rudy Gay, and the Bobcats seem to be very interested. Its hard to imagine what they could give, but it seems Gerald Wallace may be involved...Stay Tuned!

The Bobcats pick up a very decisive win vs. Washington in debuts by Irving and Thompson. They beat the Wizards by 16 with a score of 76-50. Gerald Wallace led the balanced scoring attack for Charlotte with 14 points. Jordan Crawford led the Wiz with 14 points in the loss. The win came at a price as Carlos Boozer will be out 2-4 weeks with Plantar Fascists reported the team doctor after the game. Boozer will miss 2-3 games with the injury meaning the teams leading scorer could be out until the All Star Game/Trade Deadline. It is rumored that Brendan Haywood will take over the starting C position while Boozer is out, moving Tristan Thompson to PF. However, it seems that Tyrus Thomas will get the most benefit from the injury as he expects to get the most of the minutes due to the injury.

- Charlotte Signed C/PF Dan Gadzuric to a 1yr/473K contract after the game

The Rondo experiment lasted only 4 games, as the team has sent him packing to Cleveland. The Bobcats trade PG Rajon Rondo and C Bismack Biyombo to Cleveland for PG Kyrie Irving, and PF/C Tristan Thompson.

- The Celtics get a better scorer in Irving which they needed, and get a nice young big man who should start at C for the Bobcats. The Cavs get a already star Rondo and a big with great potential Biyombo. Charlotte was competing for now and figured Thompson was more developed than Biyombo was and decided to pull the trigger.

- Rondo averaged a disappointing 8.2pts, 6.3ast 4.5stls, Biyombo put up 2.5pts, 4.2reb as well. Irving is coming in averaging 16.3pts 4.5ast, 1.5stls while Thompson is averaging 12.5pts, 10reb, 1.7blks
The Bobcats beat the Raptors in game 4 by a 67-65 margin. Landry Fields had the ball in his hands with 20 seconds left in a tie game and didn't disappoint. He waited patiently until about 6 seconds left and started his play, walking in past the 3 point line and pulling up just at the top of the key for the basket to win the game. Rajon Rondo had another disappointing game as a member of the Bobcats and it don't seem like hes happy to be there. Don't be surprised if the star PG is moved unless he smartens his game up. DeMar Derozan was the leading scorer for Toronto with 22 points, and Boozer was the leading scorer for Charlotte with17 points. Gerald Wallace in his 1st full game with Charlotte had a nice 14 point 6 rebound 2 block game.

Box Score:
Charlotte Bobcats (3-1):
Boozer - 17pts 3reb
Wallace - 14pts 6reb 3blk
Fields - 13pts 2stl
Brooks - 7pts 2ast
Thomas - 6pts 2stl
Rondo - 6pts 6ast 5stl
Haywood - 2pts 3reb
Biyombo - 2pts 6reb
Watson - 0pts 2ast 1blk

Toronto Raptors (2-3):
DeRozan - 22pts
M.Webster - 12pts
Bargnani - 9pts 5reb
A.Johnson - 8pts 5reb
Lowry - 8pts 5ast

The Bobcats were looking at a 3-0 start to the season going into the 4th quarter, but after Rondo fouled out with 4 minutes left up by 7, the team derailed. The 76ers went on a 10-0 run, and the Bobcats had no answer. Leading scorers for the Bobcats were once again Boozer who finished with 17 points, and Fields who got 15 points in the loss. Holiday was nice for Philly finishing with 21 points and the player of the game award. SF Gerald Wallace is fully healed from his injury and will be back in at the starting SF spot next game.

GM Michael Jordan wasted no time making a splash before opening night by announcing a shake-up chain reaction of deals that will make this team into a contender in the East. Here it is:

1) Bobcats get Rajon Rondo, Brandon Bass, Timofey Mozgov; Nuggets get Kemba Walker, Desagana Diop, Bobcats '12 1st Pick; Celtics get Ty Lawson, Byron Mullens, '13 2nd Pick, and '12 2nd Pick.

2) Jordan then continued the dealing with another massive 3 team deal. Bobcats get Carlos Boozer, RIP Hamilton, Gerald Wallace, MarShon Brooks, CJ Watson; Bulls get Brandon Bass, Ben Gordon; Nets get Ramon Sessions, Gerald Henderson, Matt Carroll

3) Jordan wasn't done here. Lastly, Bobcats trade RIP Hamilton, '13 1st Pick, and Eduardo Najera to Toronto for Landry Fields, and Ben Uzoh

- Wow Jordan completely dismantled the rebuild by sending pretty much the full starting lineup, along with all 4 picks for the next 2 years for a shot at the title. They got an all star PG in Rajon Rondo and scorer in PF Carlos Boozer. They even upgraded the SG/SF positions in Wallace/Fields. Depth Chart to come

Hey Guys. I'm back, and going to start another NBA 2K12 Dynasty. I will be using the Charlotte Bobcats since I want to build a weaker team to win a championship instead of using my favorite team Boston Celtics. I will be posting a depth chart and moves before the start of the season possibly tomorrow night. Here are some details:

- 14 Game Season, 6 Min Quarters, Pro Difficulty with those Sliders. I will be using the updated Roster that I have, which should be the real roster but without the Rookies from this years draft.

Rumors to Start The Season:
- The team will be looking to acquire a scoring PF, possibly meaning Tyrus Thomas is on the way out. Thomas is nice defensively but the team needs offensive options. The team is said to be looking at PF's Luis Scola, Carlos Boozer, Kevin Garnett, Zach Randolph, Nene, and Paul Milsap. GM Michael Jordan stated "We have a lot
of salary flexibility and we wouldn't mind taking an expensive player if we feel its the best interest for the team. Our 1st option is to get a scoring top option PF"

- GM Michael Jordan also recently said he will "Field" offers for PG Kemba Walker but a deal looks unlikely unless he is wowed. "We would need to get a quality starting PG, along with a really nice SF if we dealt Kemba".

- It looks like Ben Gordon will be the starting SG, with Gerald Henderson off the bench, but it looks like the team could use Henderson in a trade if possible. Henderson should be starting so maybe the team will unload him with maybe Tyrus Thomas to get a scoring PF and backup SG.

- The teams C option seems to be the most set in stone with Haywood, and Biyombo. GM Michael Jordan: " We have 2 defensive centers in Haywood and Biyombo who can block and rebound which is what we want out of the center position." Mullens can also play C and could play some C and backup PF for the team.

- Lastly, Looks like Ramon Sessions will be the backup PG, but the team has said that he could be included in a deal if necessary. It looks like big changes await to this Bobcats team

The Jays take 2 wins vs Tampa and the Mets but lose a bad one to the Yankees. The team has a record of 10-4 and are 2nd in the AL East division, 3 games back of the Yankees for first. Lind has been a beat smacking out 8 HR already only 14 games in. Bautista is starting to heat up as well hitting a HR in each of these 3 games.

Trade:
Blue Jays trade SP Edwin Jackson, LF Kyle Blanks, and Lloyd Morris (AA) to Houston for SP Bud Norris, & CF Jordan Schafer. Jackson had an ERA over 10, with 2 losses in 3 starts. The Jays got Norris back who is locked for 3 years and Schafer who is a nice speed weapon off the bench. Houston gets Jackson and Blanks who will help in the power department. They also get a AA prospect to sweeten the deal.

Game 12: Toronto Blue Jays 5, Tampa Bay Rays 2:
W: Villanueva (1-0) - 1.1IP, 0H, 1BB, 2K (H: Cordero, SV: Santos)
L: Shields (1-2) - 5IP 10H, 5ER, BB, 3K
Blue Jays:
Phillips - 2/3 R
Bautista - 2/3 HR(3), 2RBI, R
Lind - 2/3 2-HR(6,7), 2RBI, 2R
Cruz - 3/3 R, 2B
Duda - 1/3 RBI
Morrow - 2.2IP 8H, 1ER
Rays:
Joyce - 2/3 RBI, R
Scott - 2/3 RBI

- Toronto takes the game despite Morrow's 1st poor outing of the year allowing 8 hits, 2 runs (1 earned), in 2.2 innings of work. In the 1st, Lind hit a solo HR to make it 1-0. Rays came back in the 2nd with RBI singles by Joyce and Scott, 2-1 Rays. Next inning, Duda hit a RBI single and Bautista hit a 2-Run HR in the same inning to make it 4-2 Jays. Lind hit another solo HR (2nd of game) to finish off Tampa 5-2

Game 13: Toronto Blue Jays 3, New York Yankees 7:
W: Pineda (1-0) - 6IP 7H, 3ER, BB, 3K
L: Jackson (0-2) - 1.1IP 4H, 4ER, K
Blue Jays:
Bautista - 1/3 HR(4), RBI, R
Wieters - 1/3 R
Rasmus - 1/2 HR(1), 2RBI, R
Yankees:
Cano - 2/4 HR, 3RBI, 2R, K
Rodriguez - 1/3 2RBI, R, 2K, 2B
Jones - 2/3 HR, 2RBI, R, K

- The Jays got beat around again on Jackson's 3rd straight rough outing already. He was traded at the end of the game (see above). The Yankees scored all their runs in the 1st 2 innings behind HR's by Cano and Jones and a 2RBI double by ARod. The Jays made a small comeback behind a Bautista solo HR and a Rasmus 2-Run HR but couldn't do anymore damage against Pineda.

Game 14: Toronto Blue Jays 7, New York Mets 0:
W: Alvarez (2-1) - 4IP 4H, 0ER, 3K (H: Cordero)
L: Gee (0-3) - 4.2IP 10H, 7ER, BB, 3K
Blue Jays:
Escobar - 1/3 R
Phillips - 2/3 2R
Bautista - 3/3 HR(5), 2RBI, 2R
Lind - 1/3 HR(8), 4RBI, R, K
Cruz - 1/3 HR(4), RBI, R

- Toronto once again won behind the long ball. Alvarez pitched 4 innings of 4 hit shutout ball, while solo HR's from Cruz, and Bautista along with a Grand Slam HR by Lind gave the Jays a 7-0 lead. They wouldn't look back from there as that was the final score.
