Well, as I continue to figure out how I want to do these posts, and read other guys posts to learn (from all sports) I've decided to post this update in it's own dynasty page here.
Since most of my roster is computer generated, here is a link to the team "intro" page: http://www.operationsports.com/Bloop...-introduction/
Note: This is just the line-up I use when everyone is healthy, no prospects or scratches included.
Well, accidentally simmed too far and lost all my statistics lol. Anyways, it was a banner year for the Boston Bruins, winning our 5th cup since I took over as GM in 2012, as well as the Presidents Trophy. The depth I acquired at the Trade Deadline with Jimmy Beyers and Serge Tremblay proved invaluable, as I was able to roll 4 lines and dominate for the most part, and even when I was caught in my own zone, we blocked many shots for Moller, who finished with a .943 save percentage. ... Well, I've finally been able to blow past some seasons, and am now in my final season with the Boston Bruins.
On one hand, I'm sad for it to end, on the other, though, I am excited that I will be able to retire some of the great players on this team as well as begin using my Tampa team once again.
Well, after the amazing season that was 2032-33, we're into the next season, with what may be my deepest line-up ever. Well, after doing a mini overhaul of my team, we approach the 2030-31 season with a new mindset. Losing Smirnov to retirement set the stage to become a more defensively responsible club, as we had just lost our most consistent goal scorer for the past 10 seasons. The skilled but inconsistentFrederick Howes was moved at the entry draft for a pair of 1st round picks, who turned out to not be quite as great as expected.
The offseason brought more changes, as Carson Perreaux was signed ... Read More
After a disappointing post season, as GM of the Bruins, I've decided to go after a partial retooling of the team. One of the shocking features of the offseason: Long time Bruin and captain, Yuri Smirnov retired after 18 seasons in the NHL at age 37.
Career Statistics for Yuri Smirnov: 1,314 Games Played, 453 Goals, 685 Assists, 1,138 Points.
Offseason Plans: My scouts have been paying close attention to a few players this season. All 3 are forwards, two being defensive ... Read More
From now on, the players bio will be in the Team introduction thread, and roster changes, season overviews, injury reports, player reports, stats, etc. can be found here in my Blog!
Going into game 3 of my semi-final match-up against the Islanders, here is my Boston Bruins line-up:
