Boston Bruins, 2033-34 Season.

Well, after the amazing season that was 2032-33, we're into the next season, with what may be my deepest line-up ever. While not everyone has amazing overalls, their individual statistics are perfect for their roles. Everyone is fast, everyone can play defence and everyone can contribute in some way offensively.

Traded away some picks and minor leaguers for Brent Pedersen and Tyson Desantis, as well as Bryant Froese. Other than that, we had no changes in the line-up going into playoffs. I was the top seed in the East, 3rd overall in the NHL.

Okay, here is my Tampa Bay Lightning Team. I'm 16 games into the season, and will update things like stats, injuries and roster every 8 or so games.

Currently the team has a (10-5-1) record, Averaging:
3.38 GFPG (4th in NHL)
2.50 GAPG (7th in NHL)
15.7% Powerplay (20th in NHL)
81.5% Penalty Kill (18th in NHL)

Well, after doing a mini overhaul of my team, we approach the 2030-31 season with a new mindset. Losing Smirnov to retirement set the stage to become a more defensively responsible club, as we had just lost our most consistent goal scorer for the past 10 seasons. The skilled but inconsistentFrederick Howes was moved at the entry draft for a pair of 1st round picks, who turned out to not be quite as great as expected.

After a disappointing post season, as GM of the Bruins, I've decided to go after a partial retooling of the team. One of the shocking features of the offseason: Long time Bruin and captain, Yuri Smirnov retired after 18 seasons in the NHL at age 37.

Career Statistics for Yuri Smirnov: 1,314 Games Played, 453 Goals, 685 Assists, 1,138 Points.
