Playing on PC with the game upscaled to 4K is an amazing experience and one I still enjoy a few times per week.

It's not hard to install but make sure you follow instructions exactly the way they were written.

I love it but you do get some weird things now and then like Georgia Southern being listed in the MAC but you can just move them back to the Sunbelt. Another thing is that when you customize a conference you can get a weird schedule like having four straight road games followed by four straight home games.

Trying to play as Michigan vs. Penn State and got 5 straight crashes. First 3 was with the all Navy unis, then 2 with normal homes. Only one other freeze prior to this mishap and had even played a game earlier in the morning without a freeze. I can't find a remedy for this.

Re: '14 Revamp Roll Call

Just started up a Texas dynasty with updated rosters in CFBR and it’s making it VERY difficult for be to go back to Madden.

Georgia Southern replaced UMass who was in their final season in the MAC in 2013. I believe Charlotte replaced UConn, so they are in the American. Revamped-only teams are in the conference of the team they are replacing. There was one version (15?) that had each of the teams assigned to their correct Conference, but the schedule was badly messed up. Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina each played something like 18 games in one season and only 5 conference games.

Re: '14 Revamp Roll Call

Been playing for a couple of years now, I have some minor complaints with some of the changes they made in the name of realism that I, personally, don't find particularly realistic—but those nitpicks are dwarfed by what an impressive effort it is, and I'm a huge fan of the project.

That said, I play on PC, and I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed any issues with performance or CPU heat in this year's version? I don't know if it's on CFR's end or the software's end, but the opening video immediately cranks my CPU's temp to 85-88c (R5 3600), and even just sitting in the menus, my Ryzen's temp stays in that 85-88c range.

Haven't noticed any major performance issues—at least none that aren't easily attributed to the temps, since Ryzens throttle themselves rapidly in response to high temps—but even so, last year's version of CFR never did this on my hardware. I tried fiddling with a few settings, favoring performance over quality, but nothing seems to alleviate the temps.

I run a somewhat aggressive cooling setup (2 intakes, 2 exhausts, slight positive pressure because the intakes are both ~60 CFM Noctuas while the exhausts are ~40 CFM stock Corsairs that came with the case; all intakes and vents filtered) and the Wraith cooler + case fans are all set up to run at 100% at anything above 75c. Case interior is uncluttered with good airflow; don't even have any disc drives in the drive bay. Doom Eternal on high settings rarely cracks 80c (apples and oranges vs. PS3 emulation, granted, but nothing's ever run my CPU this hot).

Anyone else noticed higher temps on this year's version?
