The San Diego Union-Tribune reports the Chargers have made a final offer to RB LaDainian Tomlinson on a restructured contract. The ball is now in his court in terms of whether he wants to remain with the team or move on.
While nothing concrete has been reported, rumors swirling around the situation suggest that Tomlinson will not be back with the Bolts in 2009.

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that the Cowboys have signed free-agent safety Gerald Sensabaugh to fill a glaring need in the secondary. Sensabaugh was a fifth-round pick of the Jaguars in 2005 and started 13 games in 2008. Sensabaugh had 82 tackles and four interceptions. He has played mostly strong safety but started three games last season at free safety.

While the Chargers have cut off negotiations with RB LaDainian Tomlinson, a former teammate appears ready to do some recruiting if the running back decides not to return to San Diego. In an interview with XX 1090 AM in San Diego, New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees expressed his desire to again play alongside Tomlinson, who was Brees’ teammate in San Diego for five seasons.
