The number one reason why madden sales are down is simple...... The majority of madden gamers are of African descent and guess which ethnic group has been the most effected by the economy...... EA knows more than you guys think they know. Why else would they change the music from hip hop to mainstream rock. They are repositioning the franchise because their primary market isn't re- upping. Just my thoughts.

I'm getting NBA Elite. In my opinion, I believe 2k is over compensating by putting Jordan in a my player mode that was virtually there last year. Also, when you consider you get a free game for trying out their new physics engine and new version of freestyle, it's a no brainer. So who will be joining me on the Elite bandwagon. Intuitive controls vs The Lord of the Rings. Which do you pick....

First and foremost, I'm loving Madden 2011. But if EA is going to have it's first ever repeat since madden 04 and madden 05 they have to perfect, not add or subtract or make slight changes,...But perfect these things.

Great job Mr Cummings! Madden 2010 was an extremely solid effort and Madden 11 builds upon a great foundation with a good effort. I am fully convinced Madden Armageddon will be the best football game in history, and I will bet that. All EA needs to do I'd fine tune locomotion (too many broken tackles) and perfect the ratings system and you will have one fine football video game experience. Do you prefer your sports games to play like they are viewed on tv or play like they would play if you were actually playing the sport. For example one basketball game last year played like it would feel if you were on the court playing and one played like it would feel from a person watching the sport on tv. NBA Jam Wii has been a day one purchase for me ever since it's announcement last spring. I told a good buddy of mine that although Madden is progressing at a pretty swift pace, if he wants to get the true Madden experience, he should skip this year and re up for Madden Armageddon.
*Ian Cummings and company would have had 3 years to implement their vision. The true gauge for gamers would be playing Madden Favre (2009) and comparing it to Madden Romo (2012).

Just finished playing the Madden Demo and wanted to touch on the upside of the gameplay.
Locomotion- love it and suspect this will add a whole new level of realism to the ratings system. For example Brandon Marshall will break more tackles than Teddy Ginny. Felix jones will cut quicker than Brandon Jacobs.

Quick question, are we as gamers sabotaging the annual ecstasy, which is madden football by constantly nit picking?
