Here's my Ipad 2 prediction for those who care.
1. Ships with multi-tasking and it's new Operating system
2. One front facing camera for face time
3. More Flash memory across all 3 models (32gig, 64 gig, 128 gig)
4. Sleeker design
5. A more responsive screen that allows for better stylus to screen interaction for writing.

Looking back over this years Madden and it's much hyped Gameflow feature, I've come to the realization that this was probably the biggest addition to Madden in a long time, and if they keep it could transform the way we game via football forever!

Drum roll please! Maddens 3 biggest features for it's annual football game will be.
1. Analog passing- use the right analog stick to throw the football. Put the the right amount of touch for a lob pass or drill the stick forward to fit the ball into a tight spot.
*I believe this is the primary reason they moved pre play adjustments to the dpad.

Operation Sports legend, Adembroski wrote an interesting blog on gaming and the lack of respect it gets as a respectable art form. And it got me to thinking...........would I consider the Madden franchise a fine achievement of art or just a mainstream title that's pumped out with a corporate template?

To say I was shocked when EA delayed Elite is an understatement. Although this isn't the first time EA has delayed a high profile sports title (remember Madden 96 on the original playstation), it doesn't come often. I've been gaming since 1985 and have witnessed the release of several video game systems....from the turbo-grafx 16 to the Sega Dreamcast. But the other day I came across the notion that we may not see another gaming console release until the year 2014. As I watch my beloved Dallas Cowboys spiral into the laughing stock pile of the NFL, I immediately look for a culprit. Is the culprit an offensive line that has more holes in it than Swiss cheese....on second thought -molded Swiss cheese when you consider their age. I was talking to my beloved wife when she asked me, "why after all these years is 2K11 Jordans first video game appearance"? My response..... How we view our NFL games on television has baffled me for about 10 years. When we view an NFL football telecast the view is presented from a horizontal vantage point, similar to the view point used in Tecmo Bowl. The only down side to this- is that we the viewers miss out on the all important battle between offensive line and defensive line, and we also fail to see the interaction between wide receiver and cornerback. I've been having a strange feeling over the last 6 months..... What is this strange feeling....... I'm seriously thinking about retiring from video games. My lovely wife insists I'm pulling a Bret Favre, but Im thinking it's time for me to start thinking about life after gaming. I think we are staring down the barrel of a significant moment in sports video gaming history. I'm getting a strange feeling that NBA 2k11 will be not only the greatest basketball game in history, but possibly the greatest and deepest sports game in history. I for one has shunned NBA 2k in recent history to play Live, but that demo has ignited a love for basketball video game hoops that's been hibernating since bulls vs blazers.
