Got to be honest, the servers don't seem any better than they were a month ago to me, I haven't really noticed these "great strides" but maybe that's just me. Nice of them to actually release a statement and apologise, even if it is very, very overdue
11k and a handful of packs, meh. Doesn't mean a whole lot after a month but it's better than a poke in the eye. I was kind of hoping for something unique or interesting like a new mission or something, but really I just want to be able to play the game in the evening without worrying that my games won't count
I dont play online or have a use for packs, I'd give mine away but dont know how or if its even possible. Anyways, I've been more than happy with 17, other than the roster updates.
I'm sorry but what about all the lost games and missions and stats and wasted hours etc? You are telling us that some stubs and cards that will mostly be common and bronze players is enough compensation? Not nearly enough. Don't mean to sound ungrateful but I've lost hours of data to the crappy servers and some stubs and cards can't fix that.
I've never been the one that needs compensation for technology problems. I am in IT and I know that technology can be very fickle at times. That's pretty cool of SDS to offer a good will type of thing.

It's enough. It's a free $20 of in-game items for doing nothing but attempting to play a video game.
Hey I know a lot of people say big deal or it's not enough but after playing NBA2K and having 12 patches with little to mixed result, I myself think it's a classy gesture. The basketball game pretty much told us to go screw ourselves then offered us the opportunity to pre-order next year's game for $149.99
Sweet. Does this usually mean a drastic price drop in a lot of cards as well?

It shouldn't affect prices since they're giving away both free money and free goods. Example, if a pack of hot dogs cost $5, and you give everyone free hot dogs, hot dog prices lower to $4. Alternatively, if you give everyone free money, the $5 hot dogs increase to $6. This fiat system is held together solely on confidence anyway, so it's just as worthless as a Federal Reserve note.
