We are live streaming MLB The Show 17 on the OS Twitch channel. Come join us, with our host Millennium, as he shows off the game and answers questions.
I'm really sorry for asking this here. But, is the pre-load date the 25th, I'm only asking because I live in Australia and I saw on OS Twitch stream that it is the 25th, but it is yet to begin downloading. Do I need to tinker with my PlayStation settings? Cheers all.

Pre load should start in about 11hrs, i am sure pre load always start when the unlock clock ticks under 2 days. Mine says 2 days and 11 hours.
One thing I just notice and can't post in the little things cause I don't have the game but when the catcher calls what pitch to use, he does multiple movements with his hands/fingers.I think In the past he just did single signs.
Judging by clips we've seen in the past it's better than it's been but judging by milleniums stream yesterday, it's still off in actual gameplay, or at least not where it should be. I plan to tackle this big time when I get the game as us uniform guys are getting mixed feedback on this so I plan to get pretty definitive with it when I can, with comparison shots as well as comparing 16 to 17.
And fyi I hope when I do this it's the definitive post on this subject to finally corral this topic. It's a frustrating topic for those who care about this issue but also for those who don't because I know it annoyingly keeps coming up. With that said it still IS an issue and deserves to be addressed properly.
So sometime next week I hope to get this done and make it clear and convincing and straight forward so we can have it here as a source of reference for us and for the devs and to then limit the extraneous discussion on it all over the boards.
I want this issue addressed but I don't want it to stay as the nuisance that it's become.

Yes, it was the CPU vs. CPU game. That's only when I noticed it so not sure if that's only when it happens.
It's always been that way in CPU vs. CPU games. I've been hounding them about battery signs for HUM vs. HUM/CPU games for a while. Woodweaver has offered some insight into it in the past. It's a definite wishlist item of mine
Are you streaming all day today too? When are you going live?
Not sure when he's going live today but I'm pretty sure he did say he would be streaming all day yesterday, today, Sunday, and all day Monday until midnight (only till midnight on Monday).

That would be cool. I'll have to look for it later when mil streams to see if it's added in or not this year.
When I was watching the archive of the stream from yesterday I think I found a bug. It's around the 4:30:00 mark when Mesoraco is at bat. He fouls off 4 pitches but the count stays at 1-1 until he gets another ball and then it changes to 2-2.

Nice catch. Will be on the lookout for that in future streams - I was watching that game and didn't notice.
Seems to only be a visual bug and not affecting the count (and therefore the at-bat) at least.
