We are live streaming MLB The Show 17 on the OS Twitch channel. Come join us, with our host Millennium, as he shows off the game and answers questions.
If anyone happens to screencap some of the stats screens from the stream Millennium's doing right now, that would be awesome. My internet is complete crap right now I can't even watch the stream on low.
It's great, but i see too much of these amazing double plays in every stream i watched so far. It's like every infielder is a gold glove. Can't really judge cause i haven't the game yet, but i'll keep a big eye on it.
So, this CPU vs CPU game that Mill left to run while he eats dinner doesn't look as smooth as the games earlier framerate-wise. It still looks good, and faster than last year would be given the same situation, but it does seem like framerate is still going to be variable based on parks and conditions. It just lacks that butter-smooth appearance of the games earlier, and that's how you can tell it's not 60 FPS.
Actually, as I'm typing this the shadows shifted a little and it looks like that smoothness from earlier is back. In the same game, with no setting changes at all. Could just be the stream too, I suppose.

This has been a problem with the game for years. It's why there are always complaints of too many DPs in most user games. The throws to 2B are nearly always right on the money.
Here is the first half of the stream. Major points are gameplay, top 10 players on each roster, faces of top 10 and others asked in the chat, BR with CarlDude.
One thing I just notice and can't post in the little things cause I don't have the game but when the catcher calls what pitch to use, he does multiple movements with his hands/fingers.I think In the past he just did single signs.
