I want to go back and watch both this video and the game informer video and count how many times Ramone says "Ohhh I thought I had that one."😂😂 Game is looking fantastic!
In response to complete games, you should be seeing no more than 10 total per month (about 60 per season) total through all of MLB. This has been an issue for years, unfortunately.
This is why I'm hoping with quick manage we can control both teams (30 team control franchise) to help combat this issue. Sim the game until the 6th inning and then Quick Manage the rest of the way.
In quick manage, does anyone see where the pitch count might be located?
I know I'm the game informer video he jumped into the game and Tillman was up over 115 pitches and he commented that he had ran into that problem a few times.
I don't see anywhere where the pitch count is located. That will make it hard to manage my bullpen.
In the loading screen it showed complete games, seems to be more than typical. I know other users have had issues with the amount of them before.
I really love how this game looks, those clouds at Wrigley look really good.
Not a huge deal for me but I have noticed the cpu seems willing to leave the starting pitcher in when leading and sometime the pitcher gets to a very high pitch count which wouldn't happen IRL.
I'm guessing it's programmed that way to save the bullpen. It seems whatever penalty there is for the pitcher getting low on energy is offset by high pitcher confidence.
I liked a couple of the hits in that video. The game looks great.
So this is the new franchise front office. When announced most thought that more GM tasks were going to be added and the business aspect was coming back, but it's actually just different ways to play the game faster. Very disappointed.
More could be revealed in the live stream. For example I saw an option "contracts". Perhaps in season contract negotiations have been added. There is also something labeled "missions". I'm not a fan of it but that's an addition to the mode. They haven't denied create-a-team etc yet either.
Remember the red flashing lights in previous deep dives. They are saving something for the twitch deep dive. They didn't spend $20 at walmart on red flashing lights for no reason.
Can anyone explain to me how Judge and Swanson had their face scanned but Gary Sanchez didn't? Disappointed
To me it looked like Sanchez had a scan.
I'm more worried about the way Gregorius looks. He looks way too pale. I'm thinking that it can be fixed though as the video is from a build at least 2 weeks old.
Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but it looks like the Yankee Stadium renovations are in.
Yea just noticed that, and it looks very spot on too what the yankees put on their website as a blue print. Only thing that looks a little off is the mural where steinbrenner is above the bleachers in right, its just a blue wall now, would be nice if they put some type of mural that resembled steinbrenner. Also the show advertisement next to the score board in right above the advertisements need a orange triangle like the real delta sign next to it but that nit picking...looks great so far just hope we get 4k and hdr for the pro this year at 60 fps
Launch pad is just the screen itself, the entire package they are calling franchise front office.
Im going to take Russel's like as a confirmation on this. I know we will find out more tomorrow but what exactly is franchise front office then? The launch pad itself was the only thing I really got.[/quote]
It looks like front office includes player lock, quick manage, and manage full game. Quite frankly, they should have picked a better name for the feature as these items have nothing to do with front office tasks.
So to be clear, the launch pad is the screen that shows all the options and front office is the collective feature that includes all the other ways to play.
I'm a little worried about the CPU's bullpen management. Cubs pulled Wade Davis instead of leaving him in to try and get the save. Perhaps he had pitched the previous two days. Or perhaps SCEA has Joe Maddon's insane strategies coded into the game.

Ramone visited GameSpot 2-3 weeks ago, and you figure the build he took along was a couple weeks old on top of that. So that build was probably from at least a month ago. And they said several times back then that they were still working on skin tones. Hoping that is all that was going on in the Didi clip
Man, I can't wait for the new features we been asking for the last few years....Rain-outs and double headers. Of course, how can I forget the much anticipated new and improved "Franchise Front Office" mode ala NBA2K. I'm sure we will see all the new historical stats of past games and championships etc. It just that they are not going to show it until tomorrow..I know it...There is no way that SDS can let me down, no way!
They are playing around April 28th. At the most, there should be 10 complete games combined throughout all of MLB at this point in the season. We see a lot more than that on the pre-game loading screen, just like the previous years of this game.
Even the first game they are playing/simming; itt ends as a 3-2 score with the pitcher getting POTG from pitching 9.0 innings and a complete game.
I'm starting to doubt whether or not I can trust the bullpen AI to truly be fixed. I understand we've been told that the game will take into account the best pitcher to bring in for the next few batters. That's great, but I still see a huge loophole for situational pitching on a batter-by-batter basis. The impression I get through all of this is we will still be seeing long outings by RP.
