If there was one thing that would make me run out and buy PSVR it would have been functionality with this series. I still have no games to look forward to for that peripheral (RE doesn't interest me), and thus absolutely no reason to purchase it.

Maybe next year as Ramone said, but at this rate will VR even still be a thing by the time '18 comes out?
I realize it's an inevitability at some point, but as someone who has no interest in VR at all, I dread them sinking a bunch of dev time into it.

The new "Husky" body style looks SOOO much better than the "Fat" body style. Hopefully most of the guys with the "Fat" style last year got switched to "Husky" because quite frankly the "Fat" style in this game looks ridiculous.

Interesting take. In all the sliders I've developed before, I found the OFs to be too noodle armed. I always increase arm strength by a click or 3 for outfielders and also a bit for infielders. Of course, in the past I've found it's also essential to slow all the fielders down drastically as well. It'll be interesting to see how similar the gameplay/sliders feel to past editions.

Is it just me or is the video not working?

I hope so but I don't have my hopes up. They have been quiet on this front.

Mmmm ball physics!!

Is it really 1000 new animations?

Ramone: "Yes we count them."

I love it

Old Hickory bat being used by Goldschmidt, by the way... Maybe I'm late to the party on that, maybe it was already a known new brand?

Yeah it was confirmed a few days ago.

Ok I may need to eat my words perhaps.

Take a look at this hit into the right field corner at the 3:32:54 Mark

The batter was easily thrown out at second so yes even in real life it happens!

What is Perez speed rating?

Maybe the issue in MLB The Show is just that the outfielders make to many perfect and hard throws like that Heyward throw to much in the game?

If anything I am praying for a high five in one of those new 1,000 animations added!

In the videos shown I have seen runners crossing home plate and tapping their helmets only to walk right by the next guy in the batters box and dugout like nothing happened! Since MLB 14 on PS4!

If there are high fives for things like moving over a runner and bunt sacrifices. I will get a little excited players are still leading off the same (based on video shown) add personality to that it will help make the game for more dynamic instead of scripted!

But I am still hoping for player locked defensive improvements!
I agree would love to see more player interaction especially in the dugout I am sure most people won't really care as a lot of people like to skip cut scenes but that stuff adds to the game for me.

Yeah I'm willing to guess we'll see it both ways and that we're just catching the hard throw in these videos... if it's tweaked according to player speed and fielder's arm strength I may just lose it..I'd love to have to keep in mind who's in right to avoid creating a "don't run on gerardo parra!" Moment.

Nice video..have to disagree with IGN guy though. Although the Greinke delivery is nice overall, he does not hold his leg raise that long before releasing the ball. And when he was a Dodger it was even less than as a Dback. Perhaps that's why his ERA was inflated last year?

Also I'm willing to defend that kipnis error..that's a really tough play man..and with that angle he took, unless you have amazingly soft hands you're gonna have a higher chance of booting it..I'm not sure I want to see them pick it up just because they're mlb players as much as I'd like to see them take the correct angles because they're good fielders..

I enjoyed seeing the ball hit over the OFs head...I hope there's more of those type of hits this year.

He sure does hold that long...

The outfielders look faster, which makes sense since they have to travel further to recoup the ball. All about balancing the speed of the outfielder and base runner.

Here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgWQNJxFCLw Might point was not to attack the IGN guy but simply to disagree with him to an extent. I still think it is a very good mo cap.

This has already been updated. His leg lift isn't that long anymore.

The HR I remember seeing did follow the ball completely and looked great, though I'm not sure what, if any, impact their HR cam will have (hopefully none).

I assume since there has yet to be a response that we still cannot disable the home run cam, but I agree the camera is a huge upgrade.
