Nice job as always, Millennium.

Looks fantastic. I can't be the first to notice this, and I wonder if it's just the result of these shots being beta tests, but Cleveland's style guide needs updating. They wear red sleeves and socks with the home whites. The game has them still wearing blue, which hasn't been the case since 2015.

Those animations of Heyward fielding and throwing in right field look fantastic! Some good improvements so far.

I mentioned this in the other thread but it is already buried. I cant tell if it is just my eyes or if its just my imagination, but if you look at 3:55( of the original video) it looks like they fixed the pitchers hand after the pitch. Doesn't it look like his pinky finger is curled?

Someone from there should organize a statistical comp for batting/slugging statistics with the old ball physics vs this significantly improved looking system. My first impression is that they should come down a little bit with the new system. Since everything is based on the contact zones of a bat, we should expect some new net results though, no matter what. There still are gameplay factors that need to be included but still a default overview would be interesting.

These are some of the most gameplay enhancements the series has gotten, finally catching up to where it should be here in 2017.

Millennium, "You're the best....around!"

Soundtrack of your life, my man.

One thing Russell mentioned which a lot of people seemed to have missed was temperature is now a factor along with things like altitude in determining ball flight.

Maybe in the deep dive they will expand on this but I suspect in hot weather the ball will travel farther.

I was swamped at work today and haven't had a lot of time to look at the VLOG, but I have got to say, those animations look awesome to me. Man I can't wait for March 28 to get here.

Are the Indians still using the Chief Wahoo hat in 2017?

Wrigley's bullpen looks to be under the bleachers

In the future, maybe they could add humidity, marine layer, and other seasonal or daily weather effects -- in addition to rain outs and double headers, of course.

I only hope that the Red Sox dance is specific to the Red Sox, so I can swap out OF (like if I don't want to use Benintendi or JBJ, but manage to acquire a big bat to fill the corner spot) and still see the animation.

Do....they actually do that dance? I just assumed that was one of those crazy "idle game" scenes where it cuts to the players/umpires doing ridiculous stuff.

They only broke out that stuff in September in the heat of the pennant races though, I wish it were a earned/situational celebration cuz those celebrations were special.. but I know it's a game so it has be accessible as soon as you win one exhibition game.

I get this game every year, I love it...but is it just me or do they always say they have new ball physics every year?

They often do, but I think this is on a different level

They have mentioned it the last few years and it has been incremental changes but it sounds like this year they have hit it out of the park (pardon the lame pun).

Good stuff, Millennium! I think the changes shared by Sony today are definitely positive, and I'm excited to see what Thursday brings in their overview.

Thanks for breaking this down and pointing out all the stuff. Sometimes it's hard for me to pull back, stop looking for visual details, and listen to Ramone.
