Yes that is the Red Sox new outfield thing they do after a W.

Maybe in the deep dive they will expand on this but I suspect in hot weather the ball will travel farther.

July games at Coors ftw

If this is true, it'll make a difference playing in places like Texas, Arizona and Coors Field.

So for the first time ever Weather and temperature will actually have a big impact on Ball physics?

So like for example if you are playing in Wrigley Field in early April and it's cold and damp the ball should not carry well out all.

you can see where the wrigley bullpens are easily shown in the parts where Heyward was making catch and throws.

If you scroll down the page in that article they break down cold vs warm days in various MLB ballparks. There are one or two surprises on the list like the Dodgers with more cold than warm.

Coors and Arizona already get a park factor effect. The Rangers absolutely I would expect to get a bump in offense.

Very interesting trailer. I particularly liked the new outfield animation involving Jason Heyward. It’s so much more authentic. One negative point though, and you can't miss it: The Indians jersey is not right - the collar lining is way off. The lining should be very thin, perhaps ¼ of an inch at the most. I should know: I have that jersey at home! Is it SDS that’s at fault or is it the Indians that don't follow their own style guide? Hopefully, it will be rectified come release time.

They did it all season.
