I noticed Bronson Hill RB for Jacksonville Jaguars wasn't in the game yet is it possible he could added in the next roster update. He been on the active roster for a while.

It's really odd that Emanuel Ogbah had a block shedding rating of 84 the entire season until 2 weeks ago when it went to 68. In the past 2 weeks he's has I think 3 sacks. I just don't understand it.

Whoever does the ratings I must say I sometimes wonder what games he watches or where he comes up with these horrible God awful ratings

Mitchell Swatch for the Chiefs has been getting Disrespected all year all because he plays for the Chiefs

The last 4 weeks he been playing as one of the best RT's in the league. & sad part is he has been playing with an injured ankle for most of the year & still playing good

Yet he continues to go down doesn't make sense start rating players right or let someone do the job that can do it better & realistic..

If anything He should be back to an 83 or 84

Marcus Peters drops 2 What gives again are u even paying attention Roster Grau? How can he drop when Teams stopped throwing his Way??

That's not his fault teams have chickened out & stop throwing his Way he can't put up stats if he ain't being thrown at. Plus sad part is he playing with a growing injury & still teams refuse to test him

Yet that warrants a drop? I could do a better job with the ratings I mean what gives??

Please look into these

Have a great night merry Christmas everyone

No, post like this would get you banned. On topic, what is the new ratings system that you propose?

There's nothing wrong with questioning some of the ratings but you should use some counter examples. Tackles/sacks dont make up the entire game. I think they look at PFF grades and also team stats. If your team is struggling on defense good luck seeing defensive players ratings go up.

Insulting the developers wont get you anywhere

If they look at PFF then Brandon Boykins DB of the bears should be like an 81 or something cuz in 2015 he was 23rd best ranked corner out 119 . But he's rated like a 72 ; Kyle Fuller rated an 80 with a pff grade of 77 . Boykin had a PFF grade of 80 .

Neither one played this season so they rating shouldn't be crucified on play

According to pff:
8. Brandon Boykin
2015 team: Pittsburgh Steelers

Just a few seasons ago in 2013, Boykin was among our highest-graded cornerbacks in coverage. After being traded to Pittsburgh for a late-round draft pick prior to the start of this season, he hardly saw the field for much of the season. The Steelers finally gave him more playing in Week 13, and he played well. He had one interception, two pass defenses, and allowed a passer rating of 65.0 over the final five weeks of the regular season.

5 games is a small sample. What has he done this season?

He hasn't played this year he was put on IR in August which he hasn't been put on in the game yet for some reason.

Also the steelers and Boykin had bad blood that's why he never saw the field not for the lack of talent . After the Steelers let him go he signed with the panthers and they let him go because of some fake rumor the steelers coach let out about him having a bad hip that was later untrue . Boykin never missed a game before this season who is currently out with an oblique strain or something.

Even though based on his history in the NFL as a very solid Nicole corner 72 is way too low he's more like a 76-78 rated guy . He's kind of useless on the game .

.@PFF placed Brandon Boykin as the No. 10 corner, citing productive play once he got in Pittsburgh’s rotation late in year.

Since 2013 Brandon Boykin has an INT or PD once every 6.0 times he's targeted; 3rd best for CBs with 150+ targets. Richard Sherman #1

Brandon Boykin has 8 interceptions since 2013 when lined up in the slot; tied for Tyrann Mathieu for best in the league. C.Harris at 3rd w/6

https://twitter.com/pff_natejahnke/s...87804684800002

Brandon Boykin lowest coverage grade of his career is +2.9 in his rookie year .

With all of that no way this guy should be rated as low as he is.

# 8 hock0413 @ 12/23/16 11:12 AM
I agree that a 69 is much to low for him. He was one of the best slot corners. However, With maddens flawed depth chart system, their is no separation between slot and outside corners.

# 9 MoneyOvaHuds @ 12/23/16 11:32 AM
That's wild , I hope we're in for an overhaul in the system next year

# 10 MoneyOvaHuds @ 12/23/16 11:42 AM
They lowered his awareness why ?

Smh it's shameful they're disrespecting him like this .

64 awareness and 64 play recognition.... lol how ?

# 11 azdawgpound @ 12/23/16 12:36 PM
Still funny all season long dude still hasent gotten the browns depth chart right players in wrong postions, etc takes 2 secs to fix every week so I'm still not sure what site they using because both Ourlads and the browns home page is same.

So is there a magical NFL site they use?? That has players at wrong postions?? Lol

And I agree with other posters if a guy gets traded to browns or any other team thier overalls shouldn't take like 10 point drops just because of that or any other ratings.

# 12 hock0413 @ 12/23/16 03:26 PM
Ryan, I agree completely with your last post. Ratings like most aspects of the game need to be overhauled. I'm really not trying to be confrontational, it's just every week the "roster update thread" quickly goes downhill. I understand people's frustration, but I don't really see how we will get anywhere complaining about Kane's rating or Donny moore's before him. Luckily we are able to adjust ratings ourselves, like you stated that you do. Which I guess would be annoying to do every week if you wanted the latest roster.

# 13 MoneyOvaHuds @ 12/23/16 04:25 PM
I would be fine if they rated players correctly and just manually adjust team overalls to their likings rather than trying to make player ratings effect the team overalls

# 14 Big Bankhead @ 12/23/16 04:36 PM
First off, the ratings are too high. It's like the separation they had from the beginning of the year disappears because so many players join the realm of the 90s. I also agree with everyone with Jamie Collins and Marcus Peters not deserving drops. Collins has been adding an element to the Browns that they haven't had in a long time and Peters is shutting down his matchup on a weekly basis. I still don't understand why Peters isn't up there with Richard Sherman because I think he's far better than him. I think it's time for madden to separate from the numerical system and switch to a trait based system like all pro 2k8 had.

And can Kirkland be changed to a Tackle so he can be used at Tight end as an extra linemen?
Listed as a Guard or I would, sorry

Just because the balls haven't ended up complete doesn't mean he hasn't been beaten in coverage.

Also if Schwartz has been so great why is he the 30th ranked tackle by PFF?

And you think them rating the Chiefs are bad you should see the Browns. Jamie Collins was a 94 on the Patriots, he got traded at the deadline to the Browns and in them few short weeks he went down 10 overall, now an 84. Yet he gets 9 tackles a game. It's been like this for the past 10 years. They need a better system on rating players, not one guy saying ahhh that team isn't playing good must mean all there players are terrible. I don't even use there player ratings anymore cause they are THAT BAD.
Jamie Collins 37th best edge player by PFF but making average tackles means he is a great player?

Since he has been with the Browns he has had more than 5 tackles in a game twice, 7 vs BAL and 13 vs CIN.......... wow I don't know what I must be seeing how did I miss these 9 tackles a game?
