Official Madden NFL 17 Roster Update For Week 1 Available Now

The official Madden NFL 17 roster update for week 1 is available now. These weekly roster updates include changes to player ratings, depth charts, and injuries for all 32 teams.

You can check all of the changes here, along with a new blog here. We've listed some of the changes below.

GOING UP
  • Trevor Siemian +9 (70 Overall)
  • Dak Prescott +3 (74 Overall)
  • Terrelle Pryor +2 (73 Overall)
  • Khalil Mack +3 (97 Overall)
  • Jamie Collins +4 (92 Overall)
  • Marquette King +3 (85 Overall)
  • Telvin Smith +3 (83 Overall)
GOING DOWN
  • Sean Weatherspoon -7 (70 Overall)
  • Rolando McClain -5 (76 Overall)
  • Joey Bosa -3 (76 Overall)
  • Paul Kruger -2 (Overall 82)
  • Micah Hyde -3 (Overall 77)
  • Kendall Wright -3 (Overall 76)

Am i correct in using the Rosters called Ultimate Team that have appeared in my list?

Bradford is on the Vikings, so im assuming its updated, but are these are for that mode only?

That Kline bloke someone mentioned, is on the Titans, so that was a Thursday update.

Are the contracts in Madden real as such in terms of years / finance?

No that's just the default name of the roster they either choose "Official" or "Ultimateteam"

Maybe ive done something wrong, but on a CFM loaded with these rosters and Pre Existing injuries on. He is not listed as injured and its #1 in the Cowboys depth.

For comparison sake, Minnesota have Bridgwater on the IR for 41 weeks.

Good to see that my request for WR Damiere Byrd of the Carolina Panthers was taken seriously! Got 96 speed and everything just like I asked. Good job EA!

I dont think so, ive not been prompted in CFM yet during pre-season.

Another note is that the Eagles dont have their Minnesota picks in their list. idk if that can be changed as part of a roster update.

EDIT - Yes ive now been prompted to cut players.

Romo was never put on IR. Hes on the 53 irl.

Seems like they just used AWR/PRC increases to basically manipulate most guys OVR and spot in the depth chart. Also odd to see a 30 year-old offensive tackle go +8 in speed. Hopefully they'll improve that site throughout the year because it is pretty brutal to use.

Chiefs roster looks good though. Glad to see Justin March in and Eric Murray moved to safety. Going to check if they changed any of the generic faces once I can.

Wow, they seriously forgot to give the Eagles the picks for the Bradford trade.... Really?? How could they miss that.

Cool, yeah I dont know about any of these things tbh and how they work. Just saying it as i see it in the game.

Surprised that they didn't move the picks in the Eagles/Vikings trade. A first round pick is kind of a big deal for franchise mode.

That's kind of lame...I thought they had fixed that with prior versions of the game. It should always check for a new version and auto download / update.
