Are the Knicks using a new shade of blue this year? Because what's in game doesn't match last year.

The commentary is great. 2K has the best presentation.

Man this is crazy! 2K makes it look like these other sports franchises aren't even trying. From adding something new to every game mode, not just one in particular, (Ultimate Team) to upping the presentation to heights never seen before in a sports video game. If other sports franchises aren't on 2K17's level in a year or two, they should be forced to discontinue their franchises for lack of effort.

I doubt it's intentionally but I imagine the 2k team seeing the too light comments and spitefully saying "oh we're sorry that blue was too light for you? Ok let's make it darker for you. How do you like it now?" Its kind of similar to the stadium lighting. People complained that 15 was too dark and now arenas that should be darker are too bright. It's like they go from one extreme to the other without finding an appropriate middle ground. Not complaining just an observation.

This is definitely something I appreciate about 2k each year. The features and improvements might not turn out to be exactly what we want or expect but you can't blame them for lack of effort. Each year they make adjustments across the board to visuals, presentation, AI, gameplay, animations, game modes, etc.

What makes me appreciate it even more is that 2K doesn't need to put in this type of effort. They are basically the only basketball game on the market and the brand name has a well established fanbase. They could easily just make a few improvements here and there, update rosters, and throw 2k17 on the cover and still sell well. Instead they pride themselves on being the best sports title on the market and each year they put in effort to insure they stay at the top of the pack.

OMG, the new Golden 1 Center opened the vid! I almost didn't want to look and instead be surprised when I go on my tour in a few days. I only wish we had our home announcer in the game (and not a David Aldridge fan).

Looks good, REAL GOOD....... I shed a TEAR though and think what NFL2K would be today......

In my opinion NFL2k was Visual Concepts BEST GAME, I always bought the basketball game, but FOOTBALL was something special........ I would pay $100 for a new NFL 2K........

Such a Shame that my favorite video game of all time is not being made anymore............

Who was complaining about the Knicks jerseys? It was fine. It was the court that was messed up and now they went and messed up the blue on the jerseys lmao.

This was a good, meaty trailer.

Liked seeing Harlan recording lines with Smith/Barry, hearing C-Webb and Burke. Was hoping Kellog was MIA (darn it), but with way more commentary variety, he won't be as annoying as usual.

Kenny, Ernie, and Shaq look virtually unchanged from last year, nice to see them interacting with your MyPlayer though -- hopefully they don't do it after every game (that will get old really fast).

2K doubled down on the arena authenticity and I hope they can back it up. When you throw out things like "Authentic Arena Crowds – featuring all 30 home teams" there's not much room for error.

Now, with this out there, can we finally get a full 12-minute quarter of gameplay that isn't bootleg?

It's good seeing multiple commentaries....now while you're playing my career..."hopefully" it won't get stale like last year....hearing them say the same thing game in and game out....wether it be during halftime...during or after games....

If I remember correctly, the commentary team you get is dependent on what region you are playing in.

Based on what i've been reading i'm pretty sure the commentator choice is based on the geographical location of the arena that the home team is playing at

EDIT: Well i'll be damned. Great minds

Completely off topic but....can't help but dream what an NFL 2k would look like these days. I have actually enjoyed madden the past two years but there is one area I know 2K would be killing it and it would be signature styles for teams, coaches, and players. It'd be amazing for players to truly play like themselves in both animations and tendencies. Same goes for teams and coaches. Team specific plays and formations, true plays and tendencies for coaches. It would be a thing of beauty.

I'm speechless. This is so far beyond anything that has ever been attempted before in sports gaming.

You can nitpick things here and there, but I don't think anyone can say with a straight face that 2K isn't busting their *** to push the genre forward.
