That's what irks me the most I think. Changing/tweaking colors is not hard. It's just not. It isn't gonna affect anything else in the game.
I know you don't like people throwing the lazy word around, but what else can we call it?
Personally, if I were working on this game, I'd take more pride in stuff like this. I mean, why would they? Even the guys who aren't in the art dept. How do they not see this stuff and relay it to them....sad as it may be that they'd have to in the first place.
At this point you have a means to correct it.
That's what modders do.
I wouldn't waste my time talking about it anymore because i can do it myself.
Game looks great. Probably about the best they could have improved it within a one-year cycle. People always forget that. In between improving game play, modes, faces, numerous things really, there are going to be some things glossed over. Such as ankle size, body types, shorts sizes, etc.
We really don't know how hard it is to change these things, especially within a year. And we also don't know if these changes are necessarily possible on this generation of gaming, at least the way the game is currently built and designed.
They can't just snap their fingers and create new, 100% accurate bodies for everybody.

Totally agree - humans make the game at the end of the day - humans aren't perfect - there will always be some mistakes. More importantly technology gets better with time and that will likely reduce mistakes in future games. I for one just care about gameplay though. 2k11 is still one of my favorite games - it was a very fun game to me - and i would still play it regardless of it being last gen. Fun is fun.
I mean, the art department alone is doing graphics for EVERYTHING. Not just players. I'm assuming they have to do graphics for players, coaches, cheerleaders, crowd members, uniforms, all of that. I'm sure their job is tough enough as is by trying to get good renders of everybody in the league (which they've still shown that they can't 100% accomplish).
All that I can really ask for is for us to be able to edit CAP's body types. If I want to make a lanky, 6'10", 200 lb small forward, he shouldn't be built like Melo. If I want to make a 6'10", 300 lb center, he should have a little more girth to him than what the CAP currently allows.
Really? On PS4? Can I correct the uni colors and court colors/shades, and still play quick games?
I don't have the time to put into some of the other modes, so when I play it's almost always quick games.
Basically just start a my league season and play as the schedule goes on in the league. You can select all 30 teams and play with any team you want for any game.
It's essentially the same thing, so yeah, it's all good.
It actually looks a little bit like LeBron looks different in a couple shots. Specifically his hair looks a little more accurate in the shots of him in a home white jersey. Could be different builds. Or maybe I'm just seeing things.
Rather we all like the colors or body types or whatever we all still gone be there on release day wit our money so .. lets just let it go an just enjoy the game .. nothing will ever be made perfect ... look at it this way .. this might be the last time we all play 2k on a ps4 or xb1 ... wit the neo an scorpio coming out wit all the new power the devs will have 2k might be really on point by this time next year ..

Off topic but just so you know, the PS Neo and XBox Scorpio aren't exactly new consoles in the sense of a new generation. More like more powerful versions of the PS4 and XBoxOne to support 4k tvs and Virtual Reality. Supposedly software developers won't be even allowed to develop content exclusive to the new models and if you have a Neo and I have my PS4, we'll still be able to play each other online.
I know, disappointing. We're only 3 years into what typically is about a 7 year life cycle.

You are not seeing things, it depends on how successful his last transplantation was, 2K is that REAL!
Not to get off topic, but I wish Madden would give me this graphic immersion. Madden looks good, but it just doesnt click with me graphics wise. Hard to pinpoint what it is, but NBA2K always gives me the sensation I am playing a real game of basketball just looking at it. Good job as usual from 2K Sports. I hope the front end menu is just as nice as last years, I really liked what they did.

While you may think it's the graphics it's all in the animations. In Madden everyone runs the same, flailing their arms in some weird robotic way where as in NBA 2K they run more organic and with way more variety in animations. It makes the game look more realistic.
