Featuring all of the official teams, drivers and circuits from this thrilling 2016 season, we’re very happy to tell you that F1 2016 boasts the most extensive Career Mode ever seen in the franchise. Stretching for up to ten seasons, you’ll be able to Create Your Own Legend, working with your Research and Development Engineer and Agent to get the most out of your time in FORMULA ONE™.

With action both on and off the track, we believe that F1 2016 is the most complete FORMULA ONE experience we’ve ever created. For the first time you’ll experience the pre-race tension of the Formation Lap, before the drama of manual starts. During the racing the iconic Safety Car makes a return and is complemented by the new Virtual Safety Car.

For the first time in the franchise, you’ll also be able to edit your field of view on not just the offset t-cam, but the t-cam as well across all platforms. This means you’ll be able to adjust the field of view to exactly how you’d like in F1 2016.

Online, F1 2016 has support for up to 22 players, allowing you to create full grids of human players. The brand new Multiplayer Championship Mode will also allow up to 22 players to compete against each other over the course of a season. You’ll be able to race together as team mates or battle it out as different teams.

In our saveable Multiplayer Championships, the host will be able to remove drivers, or substitute one driver for another. AI drivers are optional as well. Not only that, but you’ll also be able to quit and resume in between any session.

This will be the first time that you’ll be able to race the thrilling Baku street circuit, the home of the 2016 FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE, and drive for the new US-based Haas F1 Team.

Available now, F1 2016 Limited Edition includes the ‘CAREER BOOSTER’ DLC PACK, which will give players a head start in their career as well as exclusive Career Helmet and Laptop designs.

Is there an option to do in car view on replays as it is easier to follow?

Got into career tonight. The improvement they made there is worth the purchase alone. Meant to just check out career tonight then switch to Madden... Ended up playing f1 all night

My only complaint... The practice programs to earn the r&d points seem a bit lengthy and tedious to do for every race weekend.

Great game though so far. Loving it

So lifelike! I am sure that Rosberg took out Hamilton.

started 2nd, managed to hold off and finish there. the rain segment at the end was mostly me running all alone. It's an interesting track. some of the camera angles at the end were pretty cool looking though.

I think it's still processing the higher quality versions. it was recorded at 3440x1440.
I agree, those replay angles are really cool.

Any of you guys using controller on console? Want to know how it is feeling with controller before picking it up.

I use a controller. If you're capable of feathering your triggers, and stick for steering, you'll be fine. I'm sure I could run better with a wheel, but you're should be capable of running with a controller.

I play on PS4 with a controller and it handles better than any racing game I have ever played with a controller. Obviously, you will not be doing as well as with a wheel, so to compensate, I don't play on the hardest difficulty level and I use TC, which slows me down a bit, but in order to be lazy and sit on my couch to play, it works great!

How's the framerate on the PS4 version, is there any noticeable drops while racing? Thanks.

I use a controller and love it, drives great!

Frame rate from everything I've done so far is smooth and solid, including replays.

I don't think you'll be disappointed.

As I said, I play with a controller, on X1. Forza 6, I find is a bit difficult with a controller. This game for me, is a breeze with a controller. You just have to be aware that you can just mash the gas coming out of a turn if you have the traction control off. You've also got to have the ability to be gentle on your left stick for steering. Don't just slam it left or right, you'll have lots of long, sweeping turns that require more touch and finesse with it.

However, as others have said, there's lots of options, and difficulty levels to adjust and compensate. For example, turn traction control to full, you can mash the gas and basically never spin out. Turn ABS on, you can mash the brakes, and not worry. Or you can turn them off, and be more cautious trying to find speed. Traction control also has a "halfway" setting too.

I do have a wheel the thrustmaster T80. I know it's a lower end wheel but it's still fun to use. No force feedback is one of it's downfalls but I knew that before buying but it was on sale so not complaining. Looking forward to getting the game tomorrow.

Broke through with 1st win in career mode at Russia. Strategy in the pits gave me a 12 second lead over Hamilton and I was able to nurse it around for the victory. This game is so addictive. Makes you want just one more run. Loving it.

had the opposite happen to me in the Austrian GP. I got a really fast lap out in Q3 to get the poll by inches(something like .032). but since top 10 have to start on same tires from Q2, it force me to have to do a 2 stopper. there were several cars that did 1 stoppers and that shook up the field. Normally I do the 1-stopper to pull out a good finish.

right out the gate the Ferrari's were all over me, eventually I let them go. I was abusing my tires too much. stayed out too long, ended up 20th after pitting, but worse, behind most of the guys that did make their first pit stop and were behind me.

made by way up the field, lead a lap or 2 again before making my last pit stop. pushed like hell to try and get as many spots back as I could, could only get back to 7th before the end of the race. Grojean had a bad qualifying. but used the 1-stop strategy to get 10th. I think he was having an issue as he was slowing down quite a lot at the end, but he did come home in the points.

Vettel won the race, Sainz got 2nd with the 1-stopper, he was leading until the last lap. Raikkonen got 3rd.

raikkonen is now 5th behind me in points. he had some bad luck early part of the season, but is making a come back. Vettel took the points lead as Rosberg finish 8th after a bad race(well we made contact early on, he spun). Hamilton finished 5th.

Haas still in 3rd in Manufacturer points. Riccardo had a DNF, so that hurt them(he is my current rival too, so that helped). Torro Rosso made some gains with Sainz 2nd place, they closed the gap to Red Bull. It's looking like a good mid-season race for 3rd.

British GP will be next.

I am running short qualifying and 50% race length with 3 practices. If you use all 3 of the practices and then then qualify and race, it's an hour 45 min to 2 hrs spent per race weekend. I like it. The strategy feels pretty good at the 50% race length and I have had the thrill of victory, as well as the agony of defeat with some decisions at this race length. [emoji1]

Full weekend, 25% race length.

Can't keep my eyes taped open any longer than that.
